Hello BfME,
it's time to announce the come-back of Replay Reviewing and we welcome everyone who likes watching replays to apply for this position. The tasks of a Replay Reviewer include:
- Watch replays and point the most crucial mistakes out in bullet points or whatever you prefer (One review per game is enough, so do not review a replay that already has been reviewed)
- Rate replays, in both skill and entertainment, on a scale from 1 to 10. Example: Skill rating: 4, Entertainment rating: 7; Total: (4+7)/2 = 5.5
- Moderate the Replay section: Set posts invisible that contain trolling or flaming, etc.
Make sure to read the
details and tell us if you're interested.
What's also coming with Replay Reviewing are Replay Awards:
With this newspost we finally introduce the Silver Replay medal
as well as the Gold Replay medal
and throw them in for competition.
But how to get these awards?A replay becomes Silver Replay contender if a Replay Reviewer gives a replay a 6.5+/10 rating. All staff members then vote between all contenders and the replay with most votes becomes the Silver Replay. There will be a Silver Replay once a month usually. This may vary due to the lack of staff members we have these days.
The Gold Replay medal on the other hand will usually be handed out once every two months, and only if there's a replay that has a 8+/10 rating. If there are a few replays with a rating of 8 or higher, staff will decide which replay deserves it more.
With that being said, make sure to upload every good game you play from now on, maybe your replay will be good enough to deserve one of these awards. We've been looking forward to this for weeks, and here it is, we hope you like it as much as we do!
