ok as you posted this game rokettman i will mostly concentrate on your part
normally i'd just say: watch strat forums bc of massive amount of errors but you really wanted that review so you get it
Team 1 (gondor/rohan) vs Team 2 (gondor/Rohan) on Anorien
Team1 (|KOD|Rokettman and Floydfan123)
gondor:
do not start with furnaces in base, get farms for faster horses don't choose your first power till you know what power is better in the situation should have kept troll creep for faramir to level him up attack their farm after killing their starting troops, cloak hobbits there to cripple their economy for a long time lost knights to theo + knights the tower was a complete waste stopped creeping/attacking/harassing after a while
sneaked up faramir to kill theo they ran gandy grey, aragorn, gimli, 3 knights, theoden into death at your middle camp nice fast aotd bc they ran like 20 heroes into your knights/faramir
rohan:
two farms, archery range might not be the best for rohan better get more farms, rohan has weak economy better go for theo + rohirrim archers they are way better in that matchup cant think of anything more useless than 2 towers for rohan unupgraded evles without leadership aren't that good of an idea imo, get leadership and upgrades way faster claimed middle
Team2 (Dragoncreaper and conradcool)
gondor:
start dbl farm, not farm, furn layd land down first stable last building in castle lost 3 !!!!!!!!! knights to elves
rohan:
starting buildorder 2 outside farms, hobbit and ...... A POSTERN GATE? get draft as first power, if you really go heal ifirst for whatever reason then run them into a troll immediately
theoden to help your mates knights with leadership
the game overall:
the game was quite entertaining, though there was a lack of skill tbh
your opponents just hat no clue of what they were doing imo, rohan even started with a postern gate
i actually started to think that they would start to do better afte the starting bo's bc they started to keep theoden + knights together, theoden was 3.5 in no time and i thought they would get GC very soon and then own you with rohirrim archers + gc
but no, they went for herospam + knights
faramir is indeed a very usefull hero, wounding arrow is very usefull
your strategy worked quite good that game, though i can promise you that good players will just own you with that kind of strategy
i recommend:
2 outside, 4 inside farms, stables, knight, furn, knight, furn, knight, horseshield, sell stable, get furn/well (depends on situation), buy faramir, sell the 4 inside farms, get statues, get gandi, then upgrades
btw... dont take the review harsh, i just want to point out that your strategy wont work in games vs more skilled players
and thx for posting it as it was quite entertaining though imo
i love to see heroes getting owned (and i couldn't resist laughing when i saw the guy starting with a postern gate )
I expected as much, and no offense taken. This was a match around 2-3 months ago, and I had kept, it, but never came around to posting it. I have learned new strats (thankfully). Thnx cacadoo .

That replay is indeed funny. Everybody knows that Faramir won't be use VS FOL. But that was funny. Faramir killing so many Heroes and you missed Gandalf The White. Faramir might have be level 10.

i love to get faramir vs rohan, he is quite very usefull
though of course not that fast. more like: after shields or sth
