played against a mate last night and decided to go mordor against his gondor. we are both average with these armies so there might b some noob mistakes. review would b appreciated, thx. [attachmentid=170738]
got MC back very fast after you had trolls as counter to his knights
always fast and good use of industry
constant spamming of orcs, in the end to his base to get PPs
prolly not a real con: cash floating in the end after buying all nazzies as well
don't armor your trolls just with trees! vary a bit, especially with stones vs GtW for example
when you bought the southern outpost, you first built it with SHs....2 reasons not to do that: 1.) you had 6 SHs in base and afterwards you needed the siege 2.) furns have double health to SHs
you didn't guard the outpost, so it nearly got destroyed, but thx to your trolls
really good game from you, not many mistakes, you dominated nearly all the way, i never doubt that you could lose this one
always hit and run with GtW, sometimes a bit sloppy until you lost him
never cast EW a 2nd time vs. Mordor! he countered it asap
too late try to HS rush to hurt him
always split horses for better harassing!
try to get a better formation use for your horses
build statues at around 3k, when you are heading towards GtW
build combos and upgrades WAY earlier, there's nearly no need to such a fast SW, i nearly had the feeling that you don't like grades and keep dodging them till the end
fara micro not always the best, same with your horses
Always have a counter to his units on the field! you lost very much vs. his WK

match comments: A very nice Gondor vs. Mordor where Mordor dominated all the game. I never had the feeling that he would lose that. Mordor always had the trolls in groups of 4-5 and a drummer and Gondor didn't go for the fast combos and/or grades, but SW instead. Sure that made the game last longer, but the chances of winning were shrinking every second. And in the end, when Mordor was sieging a balrog appeared and killed the nearly dead base. match rating: 5 entertainment rating: 5,5
