Starting positions: Gondor/BACKDOORBANDIT3 - North Isengard/WassItDo - South Overview:
A mediocre Gondor vs Isengard. Initially Gondor played best, pushing Isen back and then hitting him with good raids on his base with upgrades. A little passive in mid-game drops the entertainment, but some nice armies built up from both players made for some good fights. Goes all the way, featuring both Aotd and Balrog.
Gondor/BACKDOORBANDIT3
You played a rather nice game. Some good horse micro on the whole, just watch your retreats. You were a bit passive in mid-game, you surrendered MC while you sat in your base building up an army of 6 trebs, 4 TGs and 4 soldiers. You could have tried to play it a little more aggressive - Spamming out some TGs and soldiers to contest for MC whilst you save for Gandy or get some combos together, then you can start to get some trebs to take on your opponents combos. Some good harassment with your knights making some handy base raids and killing key structures. I just felt that after your good initial rushes you could have kept up the pressure for a quicker win. However you did the job, building up a strong army that he was unable to counter effectively. Just remember your knights while in battles, you seemed to have a tendancy to forget about them and use them once the battle was over, they could be very useful in helping mop up uruks. Well played.
perhaps get an earlier barracks to get soldiers out before he is ready for them
remamber to keep your soldiers active - get to his mills
instead of trebs, could have made combos/Gandy to remain more aggresive
keep MC with soldiers & TGs
try and split up your trebs more, so they are harder to target and kill all quickly
Isengard/WassItDo
Not a bad game, though you got worse as you went along. After a pretty good start where you defended reasonably well you seemed to slip up a bit. You messed around on his EW and gave his soldiers a rank 2 that they should never have got and you need to get more pikes out, to fully protect your mills and give you a shot at creeping yourself. You cash-floated a lot early on when erecting furnaces and were very late in putting up a tower. This cost you your warg pit and allowed him the upper hand for a period. Despite that the pressure on you seemed to lay of a little and you managed to push back and held good map control for most of the game. However you need to think about varying your army a little more as purely combos are very vulnerable to trebs particularly with the splash damage they have with fire stones.
good mc for most of the game
Cut out cashfloating
Need more pikes - one for each mill/creep/harrass
Need some early towers - vulnerable to harrassing horses
Vary your army - solely combos are vulnerable to trebs
