Iv vsed this strat on Eastern Rohan twice and both times it was so hard 2 counter i had a shocking start to the game and only just managed to recover. Just a short review seeing as it wasnt all that good a game but was a nice comeback.

Overview:
A good Gondor vs. Isengard game with some action. Typical QM strat of soldier spam at start for a small map but Isengard does very well to repell it and after having a bad start, retaliates and takes the cake.

I'm personally not a fan of the soldier spam ever but if you did, I would advise upgrades before horses and no Faramir. This would have caused loads of trouble for your opponent seeing as he went wargs before upgrades. Good job of creeping but all in all, you needed more horses to hold map control. TG spam is just not going to cutt it vs. a good Isengard who has encountered this before. Try to put more emphasis on holding MC. You achieved it at first, but remember to hold it throughout the game. The tables can turn very quickly, especially one moved by economy.

You played a good game in general. The pit furn start is what I would recommend for this map as you could have done everything you did except get your economy going faster. The soldier spam threw you off a ltitle bit, but in the end, you handled it well. On small maps like this, and especially when you see your opponent going soldier spam, always go upgrades first. He will only spam TG's sooner for wargs (it was even his laggy host as I deducted from your micro) and get upgrades much quicker. Have no fear of upgraded soldiers vs. uruks. The FU uruks will win even if the odds are heavily stacked. In the end, a great siege from you and a GG.
