I tended to reclaim mapcontrol, after a hard peasant bash by rohan. While they gave hard time to the mordor ally, I continued to that. I could have helped the ally like a nub; and consume my horses and Gandi. Instead, I just stayed calm, kept doing what I must do.
(Don't underestimate the game of "puss in the corner")
Especially Hungryhorse, just didn't seem aware that Mordor was surviving by just an outpost.
No need to make ra, or combos to take out Mordor's last outposts or when Mordor only ever had 1 nazgul out at a time and for majority of the game.
And lastly, if you destroyed your opponent's castle, and you start taking his remaining outposts, claim the outpost for yourself, moreso knowing that he only has one nazgul.
IT doesn't look so easy. We G & M always kept an eye on the last post or free posts. Whenever R & G sent a unit to outpost, including full Leadership RA's & Theoden rank 4, we were there with Eye, Cloud, Witchking, 5-7 high rank horses; was really killing ras along with sneaky Gandalf & "land advantage"(a moment of land, was enough to make ra's health half too).
-They tried to buy posts with garrisoned archers -They tried altogether to atack posts I basicly prepared free posts. Nazs basicly used to rebuy free'd outposts; but always had other posts on time, once again, survived. Some time too close to lose mordor, but hopefully did not..
MAIN POINTS: -Horses are mobile, but witchking is "mobiler". -I was able to compete versus "Gandi team" & "RA army" altogether with mordor Leadership OFC.. -Dodged my gandi from being killed (tho once I forgot my gandi and didn't follow it dead my horses were taking my most attention.)
Most GM cases, if you can keep up like this enough time (you have a base), a big army of mordor kills rohans or gondors base meanwhile dancing around the map.
