me and major have been experimenting with sime stuff vs gondor, here is an example of a 1 furnace strat, also pretty fast siege imo. also shows how to pike spam pretty much. also shows how fu pike = soldier with 1 upgrade. review imo

+ harassing + used formations correctly + creeping + canceled his 3rd EW + good defending of your uruks and rams to his horses + destroyed his treb with your uruks + scouting + extra labourers
Cons
- lost your bows and wasted a WC on it
Player summary
Almost a perfect game of you. Can't add anything to it. Very fast ram rush and very good escorted. You had only 1 con which was not even a big con. It was a fast game and a little bit boring, not of your isen play, but you just owned him. very nice game dude.

Player 2 > DRvanbeelen
Starting BO > 2 IF ~ 2 OF ~ stable ~ BS ~ barracks Strategy > horses ~ soldiers PP progression > EW ~ heal
Pros
+ formations + creeping
Cons
- your last EW got canceled - poor harassment - could have a better army choice - expensive horses (cause you got harassed very fast)
Player summary
I think you aren;t a bad player and also you didn't play that bad, but he was just much better. You got harassed form the start and never had a good eco. You tried to harass him, but he had pikes everywhere. Some nice distractions of his pikes though it wasn't enough. Maybe you could HS rush him. You could destroy his siege works. Soldiers are good vs. pikes, but he had them FU and you hadn't. I think bows were a better option, because they are strong vs. pikes and are distance units. But it was a short game, he had MC and rushed you without you doing really much wrong. Maybe you can do a fast soldier strat where you can defend your own farms. It doens't cost very much.

I think this deserves a higher score, Gondor went by the book and was outplayed but a MUCH better strat, BUT I can understand why you had this low scored.
Yeah well, it was just owngae and that isn't really entertaining imo. I think a ownage replay (are there ownage silver replays?) doesn't belong to silver, but I know for sure if he played like this and had a bit competition of his enemy it would be a higher rating.
