well, i have decided to try a new strat against rohan, and this was my first game testing. economy seemed to start REALLY slowly. experimenting with a lesser pike spam, faster wargs and upgrades from outpost
was quite a gg tbh. back and forth action, thought i was doomed when he took top outpost and then went for my castle when my troops werent yet upgraded but shows that as long as rohan doesnt get gc u can win
would REALLY appreciate if major could do it, as its his kinda style i was using, but any1 else is fine

Prelude to ode to Isengard: A hard day it was for Isengard, the freaks were battered and hard pressed, until Da Lurtie invented Ballista. Using these terrible devices to decimate the infantile peasants of the Mark, whose biggest tech experience before this was fire.
Ranger(Isen down under): b.o: pit+uruk+uruk+mill->rush...wargs...upps.lurtz...ballista...
cons: -bad pit position. -forgot formation on first uruks-lost when defending far mill. -should've taken the upper farm instead of defending the doomed mill. -not taking palantir to kill rohirrim early on, he had 1 man left on 1 squad-KEY. -not killing level 3 farms while waiting for naught with wargs. -should've spammed more uruks when he had only 1 Roh left-KEY. -combined the pike/xbows at your base, took them too long to join the fight. -next time dont rush all in with the wargs, send 1 to flank and kill the archers. -lost lurtz needlessly. -5th mill is useless (takes pop cap). -SHOULD'VE TAKEN LOWER OUTPOST AND SPAM 5 RAMS, SEND SOME URUKS/PIKES AND KILL HIM BEFORE THOSE SLOWASS PEASANTS/YEOS CAN ARRIVE. -use industry on only 2 furs once. -next time pin ara, so he can hitatron your units. -pursued yeos while in block with uruks . -chose TL-bad move.
pros: +rushed with initial uruks-a major move . +pro uruk usage vs rohirrim-making them trample with least fit member(killing cav). +industry early on to fight the mortgage. +full mc for most of the game. +pin+carnage on lego, must've been tasty. +worker spy throughout the game.
sexizero(rohan) b.o: 2farms,merry, rush along middle...
cons: -very late draft usage. -waited with peasants at the middle ford, should've pushed on. -very bad macro/micro with peasants. -cav idle in base, once produced. -not resting hurt cav-KEY. -didn't finish off last shot wargs (should've eliminated all the warg squads tbh)-KEY. -cash floating, get faster ara/moot instead of OP. -fogot about MC. -sacrificed some elves for naught (they had armor, money loss). -not using rohirrim in the last battle.
pros: +didn't plot abuse. +early MC. +hobbit usage. +had it all done early to mid...
Summary: As Ranger said, this is kinda my strat, only kinda, some bad b.o. choices - which lead to a bad econ. the game was ok, wouldn't advise watching, except for the last battle. both players need a real exercise at big battle management. For ranger-next time take 2nd mill faster, watch the numerous games I've posted, this strat appears there and you can see how to better use the wargs and combos.
Another good example of how important ballista are to the isengard army.
