And rename your replay. Don't leave them named 000001.rep, remane them something like Gondor_vs_Mordor. I have done it for you this time as you are a newer member, next time it might get locked.

Overview:

As expected on Fangorn, both sides undergo rapid economic build up that leads to most of the game being fought with upgrades. There was very little harassment on both sides, which was the undoing of Gondor in the end. Mordor opted for dual Troll Cage spam, a nice strat on Fangorn, but failed to use the trolls to their utmost potential. Long periods of idle times allowed both armies to build up massive forces before fighting. Gondor, rather than going with the traditional approach of units, upgrades and heroes, mixes them together into an unsortable mesh. He also goes with Stoneworks, which would cost him.

Your early game was decent; the defending of your mills went okay. Ideally you want to push back the Soldiers without losing a mill so you can start harassing his farms. Try being more aggressive with your early orcs so you can keep him busy on his own side of the map while you build up on yours. Once you had your massed trolls, you should have been far more aggressive with them. Instead of waiting to see what Gondor has, go knock a wall down or something. If he starts putting up towers or you find archers when you get there, pull back a little. At least now you have him on the defensive. During your middle game you cash floated a little, so make sure to keep an eye on that. You want your Troll Cage up ASAP. Once you've pushed Gondor back, especially on Fangorn, grab that outpost close to his base. I realize you did, but you should have done it earlier and begun your Catapult spam then, which would have won you the game a lot faster.
  • Always keep your orcs moving, especially early game.
  • Get Troll Cage up ASAP, no cash floating.
  • Grab the close outpost and make Catas sooner.
  • Hit three buildings instead of two when you use Industry.

Decent early game. If you use heal make sure to get it on the Soldiers when one of them has died and the rest are injured, so you get all five back at full strength after using it. You could also have sent one Soldier up the top of the map and then to Mordor's side after grabbing farms, it would have made for nice harassment. Either way you did a good job of keeping Mordor occupied while you prepared for middle game. The main thing you can improve on is the ordering of your build after early game. Generally you want two or three economic buildings in your Castle then a Stable. Alternate between a Knight and a Blacksmith until you have three Knights, and throw up a Well if you need one. Make up your mind between upgrading horses, going heroes, or making combos. When you decide which to do, go for it and complete that task before doing the next. It's more effective. For example, after you've made your three horses and they're busy harassing Mordor's mills, build a Range and a Barracks and start upgrading your combos. Just try to keep everything going in a linear fashion.
  • Two/three horses from Stable, alternating horse/Blacksmith.
  • Harass his mills more, maybe even try a horse rush.
  • Archers should have upgrades (all) before going out.
  • Stoneworks is bad. Make an army and be aggressive with it.
