Starting positions: (Gondor) Team4|OpCoMb0 - West (Rohan) [FOR]NoOneElse - East
Overview:
A very textbook match for this MU with standard strats and impressive micro. A few mistakes on Rohan's part but pulls through the end with his better army.
Gondor Commentary:
Excellent early game, used knights correctly and abused Pip nicely. It was unfortunate losing your knight near mid game but since ofc you microed them correctly the whole game overall that was probably to lag. Gandalf usage was amazing also, anticipated his rohirrim pathways with your LS so that gave you a good advantage in map control. So obviously the biggest mistake was losing Gandalf in the final battle. Probably would've survived if you had healed him the last second and that's just crucial when taking the risk of running into a full Ld army. Anyways, good rush attempt at the end. I thought you should've summoned Eagles near your outpost anticipating Aragorn so you could kill him first and hurry over to finish Legolas and Eowyn off to finish the game.
Tips for Improvement:
Since Eagles knock your knights over when they attack something, you could've used them to fight off Aragorn and use the statue to help your knights to fight Theoden and rohirrim.
Rank 8 Gandalf can take down a Rohan gate with LS and WB so you could've rushed in with your knights to kill his base with ease as his whole army was at the Moot while it was building. Probably would've won the match then and there if you had done so.
Rohan Commentary:
Pretty good early game. The biggest mistake in this game was really getting caught up with Gandalf, fighting knights for too long and thus getting in range of LS. You should always be anticipating him, so since you made a lot of bad calls here you lost lots of rohirrim and fed him way too much PP and XP. This damaged your economy, map control, and you lost some high-ranked battalions. Besides that though your strat and micro was pretty good. Used Ld nicely in the last game and put enough pressure on him in the final moments to split his units and take out the outpost.
Tips for Improvement:
It's common knowledge that Gandalf LS + 1 hit will kill most rank 1 Rohan heroes and by running right past him you lost Theoden whereas you should've retreated to heal.
Always always be aware of your rohirrim in their health and rank. Know whether you can win a fight against another knight, otherwise you will lose units and give him the crucial PP and battalion XP.

Lol well sorry I couldn't really touch on anything specific. You both played really well and there like maybe three micro errors that I could comment on, nothing really fundamental or too major. But yeh gj.
The crucial part of the game that cost me was when I went to to WB his combos by the outpost with ew and he wouldn't use it . I had to waste heal to get out of there and those combos came back to be a pain in the ass later . Thanks for review!

Yeah that was a good tactic, he was like 98/100% at getting 2 PP.
But still if you had taken out his gate right after that you would've won.
