Starting positions:
Gondor/RangerStryder - West
Mordor/Ferk^KinG - East

Overview:

Gondor was playing around with a different strat trying to include fast archers followed by knights and the brothers and then it seemed Gandy. However Mordors troll spam meant that he was forced to miss Gandy and instead try to upgrade an army and get some trebs. An interesting watch but not of the highest quality. GG Guys.

Gondor/RangerStryder

Well it was interesting to see you experimenting with a new strat, however you need to put early pressure on mordors economy, either double soldier rush or send 1 soldier + hobbit, either should do some damage. I do not think its a good idea to get such an early outpost, its 600 money gone, buildings on here are just as expensive and are not as secure as the slots still available inside your castle. If you want to try a fast archer strat i would recommend getting inside your base along with fast knights (a must imo). You just need to be a bit more careful with cash floating, it looked like you were saving for Gandalf but was then unable to get GtW PP and so spent the money elsewhere. However you played quite well with the units that you did have and made the game interesting.
  • Always send something forward, put pressure on mills
  • early outpost not neccessary, weakened your economy
  • fast knights are a must - mordor has no early counter
  • Cash floating

Mordor/Ferk^KinG

I was very impreesed with your early game. Once you realised he was not attacking you put him on the defensive and spammed orcs to his side, overal your orc useage was spot on, harrassing and creeping, GJ. You probably ned to think abut getting some towers up earlier, you were very open to base attacks and were lucky not to experience any. Another point that neds to be addressed is your trolls. When attacking you told your trolls ran on in front leaving your drummer behind meaning you had no LD. Walk them around in groups and only attack when you get close to target. A little careless with your Naz around Faramir and lost catas as they were unprotected. Still a solid performance, well done.
  • towers earlier, you were vulnerable to base raids
  • troll/drummer useage. Keep them together
  • test the base, your large troll army would have been sufficient to kill his base earlier as he had very little defence
  • Naz + cata micro (careless with both)

Overall Rating: 4

Ranger was testing a new strat i think. He played like a 11 year old boy who got the game last week. Ferk played well.
