Had to watch it since Axcell went out and said its a rotw for sure (tbh, i dont rly like when staff says that. Have you for example even seen all the games that are up for rotw? Let people make up their own mind tbh wink.gif )

Anywho, im not a 1337 1vs1 player, so here is a few things i want to ask.

First, was it just me, or was this game rly one sided for a long time? Imo, i think maia could and should have won it way sooner.
He pinned Butta in his base, but only keept trying with rohirrim, heros and moots. Thought it was obvious after the first moot that it just didnt cut it.

Were were the combos for example? Think you could have won it right there. You had the cash and total controll of the game so.
When you finaly decided to get combos, Butta were already back in it, and had seige coming.

And i also think the Balrog was very porly used post-13661-1143531603.gif You had at least 2 chanses to take out the Rohan main base, but you messed it up both times, hardly doing any damage exept taking out the range, a few farms and cita witch maia could just rebuild.
With Rohan main base out, maia would rely on only 2 OP´s, and without walls, he would have been in so much trouble, and not beeing able to rebuild his army as fast etc.

Also it always hurts to se so high lvled units just die so sloppy post-13661-1143531603.gif But that late into the game, i guess its hard to keep focus on so many things. And did Butte ever use sarumans ld power? Never saw it tbh eyebrow.gif

Anywho, a nice game thou, but waaaaaaaaaay to long for my tast, witch damage enterainment as well. Its simply no fun after a while
Rotw contender for sure, but mabye not going all the way to rotw. I have seen 2 other games up for it this week who are very entertaining as well, and who not take forever to watch biggrin.gif

tbh fuck combos, once he has saruman and rain combos are useless

but as i said im not that experienced in this MU, it should have actually been over before he got saruman out but i was stupid and picked heal before elves which i never do with gondor, i should have known its elves before heal with rohan too but anyway thanks for ur comments

neverrtheless i still think its a great game and very entertaining and definately worthy of rotw

Ok, but your rohirrim, heros, ents etc didnt rly do that much damage either?
All im saying is, you had the time, and the cash to get em. I think it would have ended the game sooner, but hey, your the pro so smile.gif

Good game in any case.

Very entertaining game, but Maia dominated the hole game. Very well played from both. Its so hard for rohan without catas.

A must watch for all, who are interested in this mu.

GG

yes purpose im the pro but not in that MU
and what do you mean ara didnt do much damage, dude he is OP lol and with those ents i got some nice PP by throwing rocks on his combos and walking over them and rohirrim didnt do damage on his base cos it was too late, im not meant to fight saruman and pike combos laugh.gif

tbh my rohirrim would have owned his base with elves way before saruman if i didnt go heal --> elves but instead went elves --> heal

thanks for ur comments grendel however silver did dominate 1 or 2 parts of this game otherwise i wont have lost my base or my OPs or MC at 1 point

Starting positions:
Rohan/Agent^]CBA|tbh` - West
Isengard/[A2B]Silver - East

Overview:

An entertaining, (but long) Rohan vs Isen. Rohan is predominately ontop, but struggles a little as he is constantly repelled by Isen's increasingly powerful army. The constant pressure through relentless attacks with Ents, peasants and horses finally pays off and Aragorn begins to level up. After surviving a few Balrogs and casting a fair few AotD's, he finally manages to break Isen down who cannot hold off the attacks on his base. A great watch and a good performance from both players. GG.

Rohan/Agent^]CBA|tbh`

This was a good, well played game from you, things will have gotten a little tense as the game progressed but you appeared to cope with it well. Sometimes you just need to consider the effectiveness of your elf summon, it is a waste to rank 5 lurtz, saruman and combos - you just gave him PP and leveled his units. Remember, never try meeleing with combos from the front, you lost Theo and almost 2 batts of horses trying this. You managed to keep ontop of the game well. Your persistance with Ents and constant pressure, although not managing to break him down in themselves, was a good way of keeping the heat on him while you controlled MC. Overall very well played, a nice close out of the game.

Isengard/[A2B]Silver

Your start was lacking, make sure that you put more emphasis on leveling your pit and get pikes out asap. Once you get pikes out try and make a more of them and cover as much of the map as possible. You opted for upgrades first which was a good choice, just be sure to progress quickly to wargs afterwards so you can cope witht eh FU peasants. Aragorn caused some problems for you, make sure you pin him and kill him while he is lower ranked. There was one instance where you chased him back towards his base, a palantir on Lurtz at this point you could have come within range and killed him early. Pike/xbow combos were a good choice as good all round units vs most things Rohan can throw at you, these served you very well especially once Lurtz got to rank 5 and you also got the leadership bonuses of Saruman. I would however try to vary your army a little more, the amount of combos you had allowed for very little else as they are so cp expensive and you couldn't very well hold MC with such slow moving and grouped units. On the whole a good performance, defended well for most of the game. A bit better Balrog use and you might have had him.

Overall Rating: 7
RotWC and Silver
