A very long game Mordor/isen vs Rohan/Gondor. Rohan got theo lvl 5, lego lvl 5, aragorn rank 9 and gandalf rank 9.6. Both teams had to attack and defend, some very good moments in it. So I'd like to have it reviewed .
I think this game proves Rohan/Gondor is the best counter vs Mordor/Isen.

Game : GG_WB Version : 1.02 Date : 2005.08.05 14:06:36 Time: 00:59:34 Map : Anorien
Team 1: WB|Will - Gondor + WB|Dolphine - Rohan
WB|Will - Gondor Strat: knights over Faramir to Gandalf, market+stoneworker PP-route: Heal, GtW, EW, Rohirrim, Eagle
fast stable creeping /w knights mostly good use of Gandalf to kill Lurtz or Nazgul. before Gandalf died the first time you missed a chance to IL Lurtz though. lost Level 9 Gandalf by sending him all on his own into Rohan's base flooded /w pikes. You really couldn't prevent the destruction of Rohan's base, so better keep Gandalf alive and put the money inot base defense too close to Balrog when trying to kill Balrog with Gandalf, he died
fast stable good defense of your farms with some extra-peasants good creeping Theoden to rank 4 mostly good hero-micro. Sometimes forgot to use Aragorn's heal
Teamwork:
attacked their mills in early-game /w starting units ok, you needed to trample orcs to get some more PPs but you spent too much time with trampling and hardly harassed any mills with your cavalry. The window of opportunity to harass isn't very big, use the time to harass, you'll also gain some PPs. don't forget to check each of their bases for towers. Isengard didn't have any towers for a long time and also not enough pikes to be protected. you could've dealt some nice damage to his base in early-midgame good use of GC in mid-game you didn't harass at all. There were some trolls, indeed but cavalry is still faster than them and ouy might be able to lure one of them to Aragorn/Legolas on your second attak on mordor you retreated too early, imho could've stood a little longer destroying towers/buildings too passive in late mid-game (after Mordor built camp), there was no nazgul, so split up your forces and constantly check their bases to see if they're defended. Both of their main bases weren't very good protected, they massed all units in the middle
Team summary: Really good teamwork, combining the strengths of your factions. Pay attention to never idle with your units, run around don't give them time to think, lure them into mistakes. If you're starting a major attack on one base, it's always a good idea to keep 2 horses back that you should use to check the other player's main base. Most of the times you'll find the other base very weakly defended. On your first attack on Mordor you could've used Aragorn to attack some towers, he was just standing around. But all in all, well played!
Team 2: [LNL]DEMOXX - Isengard + [LNL]PPjWtf - Mordor
good creeping built pit at front got pikes out fast base wasn't very good defended in early- till early-midgame. No towers, nearly no pikes. retreated /w high-level units to let them regenerate mostly good use of Lurtz crippling their heros, killed Gandalf several times build camp when you weren't able to defend it very good balrog-micro using wings to decimate the horse-archers and destroying lot of his buildings pikes too far away from the catas of your teammate killed Gandalf /w Balrog
tried to breach wall of Gondor /w troll retreated /w trolls from Aragorn pumped out drummer trolls for LD fire-archers to kill heros wasted WK + 1 nazgul when sieging Gondor why only 2 siegeworks @ 2nd base, you had so much cash, why not 4 or 5 siegeworkshops to get more catas faster?
Teamwork:
WC on both orcs and uruks to take down Gondor's farms faster good defense of Mordor's base during their frist attack but don't totally neglect the defense of the other base pikes to guarded base of Mordor nice LD-stacking (Srauman, drummer trolls, witchking) very nice siege on Rohan-> trolls to breach wall, pikes to protect them and to flood the base. GG Rohan!
Team summary: Good teamwork, nice combination of the strenghts of your factions, good defence vs. their attacks on you. Really not many mistakes made, except for neglecting the defense of Isen's base for a while. Well done!
Overall summary: Very well played match! Full of action especially except for late game but sieges have to be prepared carefully. Good teamwork by both players. Team 1 put up a good fight vs. this Isen/Mordor-Combo who had to fight hard for their victory. Interesting watch for Gondor/Rohan-players as well as Isen/Mordors. I really enjoyed watching this match, thanks for posting it!
