Starting positions:
Rohan/Genra1ike^ - Top
Isengard/illogicalglich - Bottom

Overview:

Highly skilled and entertaining match here. The game was very dynamic through the entire legth of it. Isen quickly gained map control trough very good pike spam and Rohan recovered by clever Eleven summons and horse micro. Aragorn was a threat at all times. In the end Rohan and Isengard throwed everything they had for the win. Watch this, you won't be dissapointed.

Rohan/Genra1ike^

PP route: Draft - Elves - Heal - Andruil - Ents - Aotd - Cloudbreak

Your early game was very good. I could only advise here to spam some more peasants on outside farms. This would force him to buy more zerks or to go wargs before upgrades thus delaying upgrades. Excellent Elven summons, they always brought you some breathing time and a farm or two. Very good ent spam also, I liked it how you attacked his base with them when he had no units there. I have not much to say here, you pretty much did the right things. Well played.

Improvements:
  • More peasant spam to counter his pike spam.
  • Legolas micro! smile.gif
  • Horse micro here and there.
Isengard/illogicalglich

PP route: Warchant - Industry - Rain - Balrog - Devastation

Your early game was excellent. Good creeping also. After getting map control I would strive to quickly siege him. Rohan can't do much this early against FU pikes. Try faster siege to lure his army out in the open to fight at your terms. Attack Aragorn only when you're certain that you can kill him (ie. you have ballistas nearby) otherwise, cripple him and leave him be.

I would point out that you had one very nice chance to end this game earlier. When he summoned Aotd you sent all of your wargs running and he sent few aotd after them. Those wargs stopped running in front of rohan base and they got owned by aotd. If you continued to run into his defensless castle, things would have changes quickly. Still, well played.

Improvements:
  • Keep zerks and pikes close to one another. They complement each other nicely.
  • Much faster siege imo. Don't let him build up. Rams, ballistas, provoke him.
  • Protect ballistas with pikes. Wargs are bad guardians.
  • Big mistake pitting warg against Aragorn with blademaster without any leadership or bonuses.
  • Balrog micro.
Highlight of the match:
Excellent usage of elven summons kept Rohan in the game.

Entertainment Rating: 6
Overall Rating: 6
