Starting Positions: West - Rohan East - Gondor
A nice game, with pretty good gameplay from both sides. Gandalf owned the battlefield, and Rohan never managed to stop him, although they did make it interesting in the middle. Mildly entertaining, but some major breaks in the action.
Rohan
This was a decent game by you, but you made several key errors. For one, you missed out on the possibility of an ent rush, as it was feasible in this game. If you got the majority of the creeps, you know he doesn't have the GtW PP. This means an ent rush can be achieved. You also killed a bat of his Knights and he remade them, and he also got upgrades. You shouldsee that this leaves him far behind in the hunt for Gandalf. You should then get armor for your rohirrim, play the haraasment game, and AVOID HIS UNTIS LIKE CRAZY AND KNOCK FARMS AS SOON AS YOU SEE HIS KNIGHTS: to ensure he doesn't get the GtW PP. Then make your ent moot, and buy forged blades for your Rohirrim. Be sure to guard your ents for his knights with blades, then take down his citadel. Then bust down his wall and the game is over. Also, if he does get Gandalf out, your main focus should be to kill him, and keep his level as low as possible. To achieve this, get GC like you did, and add in Eomer and Eowyn, their spears are perfect for finishing Gandalf off at long range. Here are some other things:
You need to get the Andruil PP ASAP, don't bother with the elves before andruil, because without Andruil, Aragorn is very vulnerable to attack with Istari Light.
knock your armory down ASAP
Be sure to knock your farms before your opponent destroys them, so he doesn't get PP.
Gondor
You had a pretty good game, you used a decent strat, and although Gandalf came out later on, you did well. One flaw of this strategy is the possibility of the ent rush, so many people do 3 Knights to Gandalf. If you want grades before Gandalf I would skip blades unless you see Rohan get them, so your Gandalf is faster. Use armored knights to keep him off your farms, so he cant make an entmoot, if he gets armor as well, just harass and get Gandalf, because he won't ent rush if he gets armor. Other than that well played, and here are some minor extra tips:
Be sure you know what you want to do at the start, you had to knock a starting farm to build a BS.
Be sure to knock your farms before he kills them, so he doesn't get any PP from them.
Creeping is vital, as is the GtW PP, so creep before you defend your farms with your first Knights.
Overall Score: 6/10 Entertainment Value: 5/10
