Top Left Yoshi playing Mordor
Bottom Left Th0rin` playing Isengard
Vs
Top Right Karuskas playing Gondor
Bottom Right Dunedain` playing Gondor
Halifirien, such and interesting map. With 3 outposts between 2 teams, this large map favors FOL, that is if you can keep the right expansion spot.
Both Gondors made the good decision of having Land first and it paid off, with this strategy they got one step ahead only minutes after the start, for some reason Yoshi failed in killing the wild wargs in front of his base, yes he used eye, Gollum and 2 orcs, but only manage to get the lair then lost the orcs level 2 to the wargs, as a result he got short of units to help defend while Th0rin` had his Uruks deep in enemy territory, but no success over there neither, the Uruks fed Pipin. Fighting from his Land, Karuskas's soldiers took out Th0rin`'s mill.
Left team=25/100
Right team=100/100
This means the Left team players will have to work harder on a map who favors FOL, if you are fighting from right to left then you need to put a well at the far most left outpost and vice versa. The secret is in the wells, attack refresh, attack refresh non-stop. And the only way to counter this, is to get the outpost first!
But with the not so convincing start the Left team had, being behind on cash ruined their goal to reach for the outposts first, experts like these knew at this exact moment that this was going to be a very hard day of work and most probably no pay...
Later Yoshi tried to take the wild wargs at the top of middle map, again with Eye, Gollum and 2 orcs with same result, in both situations that prevented him from taking an additional mill, with a low eco and Karuskas's knight taking control of the map, the temptation of making a fast Naz came to his mind, and so he gave the order, but after making few Trolls he most probably told himself, who am I kidding? Then he cancelled the order and minutes later the WK was called to rescue his own base from the Knights.
During this time Dunedain` having called Boromir for duty, sent all he had to the far most left outpost and bought it.
Th0rin` found himself in a very difficult situation, with 3 combos without any upgrades, in fact he had no armory yet and already Dunedain` was knocking at his front door, furns were brought down Eye W/C and Drummers helped him push back the Gondor player, but 2 steps behind a refreshing well kept Dunedain`'s units 100% healthy each time, the outcome of the match depended almost entirely from this little outpost.
Lose with honor, win with Glory!
MVP=Dunedain`
