Mor/Gon vs our Roh/Ise Was fun to play.. maybe they sucked a bit but its not easy to beat dual land spam and fast mor-mid
Review by:Guardian
Starting positions: Team 1 - West Team2 - East
Overview:
This game was a very nice watch. There was always something happening. It displayed good teamwork by both teams and had some large battles that were quite entertaining.
Team1
You guys played well, especially considering the pressure isengard put on mordor's mills early. You had good teamwork with gondor helping mordor to overcome uruk harassment and take the middle. However, i would not agree that getting the middle before trolls was a good move by mordor. This was proved to be true when they made a desperate attack on it that removed its use. You were then forced to do what i would have originally done and get some trolls and later catas in your base with gondor going combos and the brothers. Your attack to repel them from the middle was not well-coordinated in my opinon. You probably could have pushed them back if you had better catapult protection. You could have stuck it behind gondors combos. One thing i was dissapointed with was after team 2's first attack on the mid your harassment stopped. Isen's mills were pretty vulnerable.
Tips for improvement
Harassment should be maintained throughout the game
When facing isengard in a 2v2 make sure you have something to stop him from quickly attacking the mid, like a troll.
Seige protection was lacking. Next time hide it behind combos.
Team2
Very solid overall game from you guys. You had the more agressive early game which hurt their econ and made them play defensively early, however this was mostly due to the mu. From there you had a lapse in harassment and allowed the middle to fall to mordor. Isengards order of upgrades was interesting, you were probably expecting faster trolls? Normally forged blades would be your first upgrade when facing a mordor to quickly take down his base. This didn't really cost you though. Your first attack on the mid was largely unsucessful due to the size of your army, but to your credit you stuck with it and eventually destroyed it due to some good teamwork. Could have been more harassment from mid-game on.
Tips for improvement
Be careful when facing this matchup, you know they will be rushing to get the middle.
After they grabbed the mid harassment stopped
Overall Rating:6
