DAY^ realy shou;d have won this . especially by mid game when mordor had middle + trolls + catapults and 2 naz ( 1 was wk i think).


i only posting this because i think that DAY^ shoudl have pwned us and me and malex thought this game was over when they took middle . but tgis is quite entertaining ... its worth watching . review by any one who wants to . smile.gif thnx guys.

You guys should of won this game from start to finish gon gon is op and I dont know how we lasted as long as we did tbh. BUT IT WAS A GREAT GAME fun.

real? iv always thought that late game mordor is OP . especially with troll + catapults vs cobos . tbh if you just mass troll vs combos , the trolls will win . and catapults own combos too .

One warrior played 1 or 2 points better what others 3 players.he was malex,he did very well
no good strat of gondor green.
mordor well,but he could do better.

Build Order: 1Farm in and 2 out / 1BS in and 2 Farms out
PP: Heal -> EW -> Rohirrim -> GTW -> Eagles / EW -> Heal

Pros and Cons:

thum.gif Proper use of formations most of the time.
thum.gif Killed Faramir, GTW and many Nazguls
thum.gif Good retreting when you went for Mordor the first time
thum.gif Good use of LD
thum.gif Nice combined attack and teamwork to get back.
thum.gif Good use of PPs especially rohirrim to target catapults
thum.gif Used Faramirs lvl up ability

sad.gif No formations on soldiers when attacking mordor mill
sad.gif Wait to pick formations, if they had placed land, you would have been in trouble.
sad.gif Don’t meele one knight vs Faramir .
sad.gif No new knights to target catapults.
sad.gif lost Boromir and Faramir

Comments: It looked bad for you in the start. They harassed much better and you lost a lot of farms. You were to fast to pick PP, one of you took heal, and if they had casted land (witch they shouldn’t do but still) they would have seen that you only had one EW to cast. That land spam could have been dangerous. Then you used land offensive very bad. Never ever place land first unless you know that they cant place over. Though you worked your way back in to this with good combinations, LD and the fact that you worked together. Nice use of PPs. I still think you could have taken out 2 knights to go for the catapults. But in every battle, you targeted the right things first. LD heros, catas, trolls etc. In the end you lvled up nicely and they couldent touch those combos.

Build Order: Pit + 3mills / BS+Farm in and Farm out.
PP: TL -> Eye -> industry -> Darkness / Heal -> EW -> GTW -> Elves

Pros and Cons:

thum.gif Good early harassing.
thum.gif Nice use of beacons
thum.gif Proper formations most of the time
thum.gif Killed Faramir and Boromir
thum.gif Good defensive use of land

sad.gif Late formations at time.
sad.gif Lost Faramir, GTW and a lot of Nazguls+WK
sad.gif Try to steal the creep instead of fire at Boromir
sad.gif Bad treeb protection
sad.gif In first big battle, you dident attack in full strength. Go in with all, they cant target everything.
sad.gif Target LD heros first. You need to get them out.


Comments: You started out very good in this game. Harassed good and got the early advantage in eco. Took fast middle and had no problem at all to keep it. Built up a good army fast and in that stage, it looked like an easy win. But the problem as I saw it, was that Gondor dident go for combos after the first knights. Instead you saved for GTW and treebs. Mordor catas fill that purpose and GTW is an easy target for two Faramir plus allthat fire. Combos with Mordor LD would have been a much better idea in my opinion. When the first battle took place, you went in with knights, and Nazgul backedup by catas. But you had your trolls standing in the back. Sure they die fast to fire, but you made it easier for them when you let them fight parts of your armi at a time. Go in with all. If they fire at trolls, Naz can take a hit and so can catas. If they go for naz or catas, the trolls will get there and smash them up. And don’t forget the knights who can trample abit more. That costed you the game in my opinion. They lvled up with nice LD from Faramir and Boromir. Dident lose as many units as you and could go on the offensive faster. You had nothing to defend with and so it was GG. If you had gone for faster combos for Gondor, and attacked in full strength you probably would have won this. Also when they summon rohirrim, get naz in anc screech to brake them up and not attacking the catas.

Match Comments: A game that looked liked it was gonna be a easy win for DaY. But no combos and not attacking in full strength gave elder the chans to get back into it. And they dident hesitate. Combos backed up by the brothers and later GTW, and with good use of Rohirrim secured the comeback and the victory.

Entertainment value: 5/10

Overall game rating: 5/10

yeah nice. More trebs and catas imo would have alos helped. They only really had one type of army. Combos, my horses were pretty useless against them too. Like you said, combos for me and mass trebs would have owend, with trolls and catas from mordor. GG though, nice comback by elder.
