Starting Positions:
Left - Gondor – Topalov
Right -Mordor - Orcofbaraddur
Overall Review:
Gondor Vs Mordor is my favorite 1 Vs 1 game factions. But this game didn’t come under the list. The initial part of the game was a normal with harassing each other’s resource buildings and concentrating on unit production. But during mid game both players were started camping and producing more units, especially Mordor, with the purpose of attacking Minas tirinth. The final attack was like it happened by itself with no micro.
Mordor/Orcofbaraddur:
PP: Eye -> Land -> Industry.
The start was good by defending one of your mills. Creeping was good. But there was bad MC throughout the game. You could have finished the game at the mid where you had 17 trolls + 2 Drummer trolls, but you waited so long that made him to produce a huge army. You didn’t try hard to gain Map Control at any part of game. If you were concentrated on the trebuchet rather than archer in the final battle, tide would be on your side. Try not to post these kinds of replays for next time as it is waste of time watching the game with no soul in it. Good luck for the next game.
Mistakes/Improvements /Tips: • Plan before attack. • Attack the enemy once you have enough trolls to own gandy. • Have micro over trolls. Don’t make all the trolls to attack same units, give order separately to set (2 or 3) trolls. • Attack treb first cuz trolls are weak against fire, especially from trebs.
Gondor/Topalov
PP : Heal -> GTW
This one is a nice game for you when it comes for the micro over your knights. Creeping was good with minimal unit lost and MC throughout the game was good. But I found cash floating throughout the game and stacking resources in unit production too. With your horse micro and their upgrades you could have destroyed half of his main base but you didn’t go for that. You were gathering the army at the center of map like I did against the easy army couple of years ago. The victory came to you as the trolls are weak against fire, especially Trebuchet.
Mistakes/Improvements /Tips: • Avoid cash floating and Resource stacking. • Try to attack the enemy once you have army.
Entertainment Rating: 4/10.
Game Rating: 3/10.
