Starting positions:
Isengard/NoobIsTHeWord - South
Isengard/Dolman - North

Overview:

An interesting Isen Mirror that went beyond the usual upgrade rush that so often decides the outcome of this MU. Dolman opted for some quick wargs while NoobIsTHeWord when for a quick lurtz and some heavy creeping, in the end the superior economy allowed for a greater army build-up and finished off the game without much problems in the end.

Isengard/NoobIsTHeWord

A very nice Isen mirror performance, your early uruk harrassment was good, you kept up the pressure on your opponents mills and contested for the map constantly. I could recommend a slight more emphaisis on upgrading the pit and quicker zerks but this wans't really an issue, your uruk spam/econ was a good balance. Make sure you send your first uruk with upgrades directly to your opponents base so-as to get there as quickly as possible and hopefully give as little warning that you are coming as possible. It is also best to demolish your armoury after only blades and armour and use the money to pump out more FU uruks as a follow-up to the base and ensure you MC, you can repolace it later if he continually holds you off. You crept very well after he managed to fend you off and got Lurtz to rank 5, just thought id mention to be careful when creeping trolls, killing hte troll first makes it very easy for an uruk batt to come and steal the kill from you, you know how much damage they do with Forged Blades. Uruk/xbow combos would also be a better choice rather than pike/xbow as they are far more resistant and unlike knights wargs have a particular weakness for fire. Some nice Wormtongue use that i thought needed a mention as well, good job.
  • Send 1st uruk after upgrades directly to base
  • Get rid of armoury after blades and armour to further your spam
  • Kill structure of creep before troll (easy for upped units to steal)
  • uruk/xbow combos as opposed to pike/xbow

Isengard/Dolman

Not a bad performance at all, a good use of labs to claim mills for you while your uruks pushed forwards, using labs later also to harass enemy labs and try to dent his economy. I would however consider a pit-furn start to supply you with a little more reliable source of income from early on, this doesn't set you back much in the way of mills as you dont claim them initially anyway butuse labs. Just be careful with your cash-floating as it is very important in mirrors. Don't siply trample uruks with your wargs but stop 'S' and melee with them for maximum effect, you did however use them nicely alongside palantir to chase down your opponents wargs, in the end your economy just wasnt good enough to match your opponents unit spam. Not bad, I think you were a little keen to get wargs too early OR didnt quite use them effectively enough to make their purchase worthwhile.
  • Consider a pit-furn start, a little more reliable income early on
  • Watch your cash floating, very important in this MU
  • Get Industry asap
  • Stop and melee uruks with your wargs for best effect

Overall Rating: 6
