Battle for Middle Earth

This is a very aggressive gondor vs mordor game. I had already worked ppjw with my strat so he kinda knew how to counter. It was very close game and sadly i had to leave, ppjw did say he lost right before though, but i want everyone who watches to say who they think would win.

This is a replay of my new strat for any gondors with trouble vs mordor. It gives you about 50% win percent maybe, i haven't worked it out totally yet.

Also sorry about it being last replay.

Yes i completely agree! THis game has some new stuff in and it's about a new strategy for gondor players against mordor! I say that there is still hope for men! . Good job Perfection!

This replay is quite good and gives gondor some things to consider when playing mordor. I've never seen quite such good use out of Gondor's second main strength (next to Gandalf of course)... Allies. Of course all gondors rely on allies to assist in battles, but this replay shows how to get them as fast as possible to battle Mordor when it has few strong units. Attacking Wargs instead of focusing on orcs was brilliant (since mordor doesn't get power points from sending orcs to die against you, and they don't get points for killing your guys if they are already dead from wargs), but you were lucky that you were allowed to take down the warg pit without much interference. There were times when orcs could have attacked the footsoldiers while they were attacking the wargs, and that would have hurt the strategy quite a bit. Otherwise, getting those footsoldiers ranked up... very nice.

I think Pippin should have been built again and used to spy on the outpost to the south of mordor's base. One of the keys to this strat is to prevent mordor from getting a nazgul, and if ever there was a strat to prevent nazgul, this is it. If you can keep an eye on the outposts, then you can ensure a win with horseshield, and also elves to take out a troll that may have been built.

Anyway, overall, very very nicely done. The time it took to get eagles must have been a new record!

This replay is on my to-do list.
Unfortunately, it's not the only one and I don't know when I'll be able to review this replay.
so any other RR might just go ahead an review it.

I suppose that it's a great replay, so I won't forget it.

nice fast creeping with your soldiers.. Your rank 2 soldiers defended your farms nicely and eventually ranked up to 4
You sucessfully knight rushed his base but you could've done it faster imo
Killed his troll that tried to defend the base with elves.. Nj
very good comeback with eagles.. i though you were dead when 3 muma's were inside your base



Bad spot to build a stable.. Should build it at the back because orcs can sneak inside your base and kill it. Plus if a troll breach the wall next to the stable, it becomes very vulnerable to orc spam
Kept harassing his base but i woulda took out his citadel faster so he wouldn't be able to rebuild
Didn't get a marketplace

when your cit got destroyed, you built the naz at one of the outposts and took care of the knights

not enough creeping early game
You didnt produce enough trolls mid game. Your outpost and your base got destroyed because you didn't have anything to defend it.. Plus one of his knight bat was inside your base killing buiding for a while.. wtf was your naz doin?
bad naz micro imo... You could've saved your outpost and your base with him if you attacked sooner
you should've moved your trolls close to the base after perfection got his 3rd knight bat.

Thx Angra for the review, this was a ffg between perfection n me, i started really good i think but got sloppy in the end caus we were discussing tactics, still a good gondor strat i think, I like it caus its fresh and attacking, caus most gondors just try to turtle the best they can vs mordor nowadays.
