Comments: What lost you the game was the horsemicro i think. It was just terrible: the first one was lost when you tried to trample chanted crossbows, the other 3 that were build before the stable was sold died in a raid on Isengards base, they should have retreated much earlier. Then all cavalary was lost and therefore also mapcontroll. A strong point was Aragorn, you microëd him well and you kept being annoying with him even when there were no rohirrim left. This basically made you survive, it would have been long enough to reach AotD and then you could have won, but you choosed cloudbreak instead which was a very bad choice: it had no effect on the enemy because all his units had banner, so all it did was delaying AotD enough to loose the game...
+ extra labourers + good early harassment with pikes + fast lurtz was perfect counter to his strat + hero micro, used powers as much as possible and retreated if necessary
- unescorted crossbows - pikes meleeïng peasants - warg usage - poor reaction to entmoot, you had the firearchers but still choosed to leave the ents alone... - unprotected balista's - cashfloat
Comments: Your strat, fast lurtz followed by mass upped wargs seemed to work out ok but the use of these wargs could and should have been so much better. At first they were only used to make (failling) attempts to kill aragorn, later they were used for harassment which is better but then split them up, don't keep them in one clump of 8 battalions! Also, during big battles tons of wargs died to combo's with LD because they weren't microëd propperly. Try to keep trampling them so they can't attack. Also, i would try to get saruman much earlier, he is a great army buff for in big battles, the battles that were hard for you now. Luckily there was rain which always gives you a big advantage and won you many fights.
Individual rating: 4
Game comments:
The turn of tide changed multiple times in this game, which was entertaining on one hand - with big battles and sieges on both sides - but on the other sad, as the turnings in the game were mostly based on tremendous micro-mistakes.
Entertainment rating: 5 Overall rating: 4
