When he had gandy near your units when you first pinned gandy you didnt use rain..... and his units were on land therefore they were pwning your units....Rain would of made it so much easier for you. Btw i didnt say that destroying the armoury was bad, because it did work for you this game... but from my own experience it doesnt always work out very well.
