Battle for Middle Earth

well if there was any uncertainty as to how weak a double rohan mu can be then you should watch this game. i think ark and sam played well considering the mu. i am unsure as to who my mate was. i think it was bobless idk. he says something to me during the game that made me think it was him. but u never know really who ur playing with when ur acct has been given to someone else.

a review would be nice i would exp like to have some insight on how this game could have been won by the opposing faction. maybe aryi or ax can provide some feedback considering they have been getting so many double rohans. idk if their taking the mid early was good or not...

getting middle by 2 rohan vs rohan isen is best imo,


In my opinion there are only 2 viable strats vs rohan isen.

First one is combo rush but I don't prefer this one since it is dependent of the fact that one rohan can get EW way before the opponent rohan so the combo's won't get killed by some FU rohirrim + wc trample. However this will only work if you can throw out the rohan of rohan isen so he will be behind in ups and stuff.

Second one is Eomer to mid or straight mid. This strat is saver, becuase if you manage to defend middle well you can constantly do hit and run attacks with middle well. Fast Lurtz will hoewever force you to keep eomer at safe distance.


In both strats it is important that the rohan going rohirrim spams a few extra peasents (2-4) and the rohan going combo's/Eomer making a large peasent spam (5-8). The point of this is that the rohan getting rohirrim will get his rohirrim alot faster out than the opponents rohan and if isen gets fast lurtz his mills will be destroyed and u need that because Lurtz is a pain in the *** for rohan. The first fight will have to take place on the rohan isen side, important to keep it there really.
Fast Lurtz will make his ups come later so especially by this isen strat mid is good.

The rohirrim rohan goes 3 rohirrim ups -> more rohirrim/Shields or Aragorn / theoden and keeping them alive. He will have a hard job constantly microoing and keeping up pressure, making isen waist money constantly and keeping them form middle long time.

The combo/Eomer rohan needs to back him up, but making sure he support his ally enough and try to get heal. Hobbit is also very usefull vs enemy rohirrim.


If you got host and great micro, you can try both going for a mobile army, or a fast entmoot(trying to get some wall segments of roihan down as well)



This game was pretty much over when oppent rohan got theoden almost rank 4 and lurtz rank 5. The fight was already at dbl rohans side when they took middle. Next time wait for a bit more money before buying middle so you can get all towers up at once.

thanks so much ax... that is how i will try to play it if i get this mu on the opposite side. the only problem is how do u tell ur mate... i guess it is quite simple fo the guy that takes mid and gets combos. so i might be able to type to a mate taht. i think also takeing mid right in our face was like saying "what u gonna do about it" and well we made sure it wasn't easy.
