Starting positions:
Gondor/Arjen_Robben - West
Isengard/BadTheory - East

Overview:

An entertaining Gondor vs Isengard. It is difficult to predict the outcome and so is interesting to watch. Lots of good battles of a reasonably high standard. The game is contested hard with the fights coming to both fronts and both players demonstrating (on the whole) some nice micro/macro. GG - A RotW Contender.


Gondor/Arjen_Robben

You played a decent game and came out with a tough victory. You defended well early on, despite being forced into a badly placed EW. When placing your next one, you shouldnt put it by the other one, there was no need - 1 uruk batt with WC will be easily dealt with by knights stopping to melee. Place your future EWs in key locations. Try and keep your knights split up a little more. You tended to ride them round as a group. Keep them spread out and you will be better able to dominate the creeps and harass more places at once. Your game slowed as you lost knight batts. You rebuilt a Stables to replace them, but was very late to actually start producing them again. You needed to get the back out quickly so as to keep up the pressure. It was at this point that you almost lost the game as 1 knight could not contend for MC or harass effectively. Some good defences from seiges, just dont be too eager to attack, make sure you are ready, a failed attack will set you back. Overall some nice play and good Gandalf useage,WP.
  • dont place 2 EWs next to each other, there was no need for the 2nd one
  • keep your knights split up, get more creeps and harass more places
  • get some more knights out asap, you rebuilt stables but got no more knights for a long time
  • needed to wait for more trebs before your first attack
  • some questionable knight micro.
Isengard/BadTheory

Some very good early uruk pathing, you forced a EW in a bad place and defended well. I'd recommend using one of your uruk batts to combine with your xbows for added protection against horses. You did some great work with pikes to hold Map Control for most of the game and save Lurtz and kill all those horses. A good army choice, some nice variation and unit mixing makes an army harder to counter. You did seem to slip back to solely combos later on which made your army a little vulnerable to trebs. A nice game on the whole, you were unlucky to lose.
  • Place a higher priority on creeping
  • Take it steady with the siege, a failed siege is pp for your opponent
  • Balrog Micro

saruman didnt killed those combos or it will be over he let them go for no reason it was VERY early 2 kill the first combo when they came near 2 isen base!!!!!!!!!
