[attachmentid=185541]Me and Onfire played this awesome 2on2 vs two very good players, SammyToon, and Romero. The matchup was a Gondor Rohan mirror . Both rohans on both teams had horrible starts, as Romero made the troll come out and my peasants and hobit refused to run away from him . IT looked bleak for us but I decided to try something different and it worked out very well. Review please

Team 1
Pros: *Teamwork was excellent, quite often using beacons to signify retreating units to kill *Harassment was constant throughout the game *Excellent strategy modification to own a hero and cavalry heavy strat *Good micro, never losing a horse or hero
Cons: *Never checked to see if his faramir was creeping trolls. You could have stolen them since he killed the troll before the lair itself *Bad start with early units and the whole troll thing
Comments: Interesting is the word i would use to describe the strategy you guys used here. It was smart to give gondor the extra farm early (as most pros do) because he would be the one handling all of the harassment this game. Your start was ok, you neither gained an early advantage by killing their farms nor losing one. Gondor did a good job keeping them occupied and harassing well. If he wouldn't i don't really see what rohan did as being feasible. Guess i was surprised gimli killed fully upgraded horses with axe toss on level one Good game played by you guys and great teamwork.

Team 2
Pros: *Good creeping allowed you to get an advantage with higher ranked horses and heros *Beacon useage to coordinate your attacks *Harassment was pretty good * Faramir useage was also pretty decent. He killed quite a few horses with his wounding arrow.
Cons: * Early game didn't work out well for you guys either. Very defensive. *Let your hobbit kill the troll lair instead of faramir. This cost you leadership that is vital in this matchup. *Fara rushing forced your ally to do all the harassment, should have shared farms if you knew you were doing this strat. * Took the middle before you had enough to defend it. (cost you the game).
Comments: Your game was pretty solid throughout most of the game. You had great creeping and harassment; it appeared you were in control of the game. However there are two things you could have done to make this game a victory for you: gondor should have gotten more than one horse and you should have held off on the middle until after you had gandalf. You probably would have still had a decent chance to win this game if you would have tried to pull your troops out of the middle sooner, but you let them kill everything ending any chance that you had to win the game.

Game Comments: Pretty entertaining game. Short but could have been longer if team 2 stuck around to fight it out. Interesting counter to the fast fara and rohirrim spam.
Godly review, though Team 2 deserved an 8 for their efforts and display of skill . Oh and the troll should be entered into the review as Team 3 as he clearly owned at the start of this game
