Major's review: Dinn(Rohan-up) vs |DoV|Konfusius(Rohan):
Summary:
Southern Ithilien is a small country side area, were there aren't many threats and those which endured in this region are puny Goblins...
Man's failing, Theoden king had been corrupted by WormTounge, his mind frought with anger and rage, alas, Mithrandir is held by Saruman of many colours and cannot assist Ellessar, a war erupts as Theoden attacks his own people forcing the Fellowship to stop his tyrrany once and for all.
The dreaded army of the dead, the ghosts of the White mountain whispered death into Theoden's fort, demolishing it by Aragorn's order...
It began with both high lords sending their peasants and hobbit to scour the land, Theoden's men were better equipped and marshalled, gaining control of the land as fast as possible, both hobbits had rage a long lived battle, which ended with Rohirrim killing Aragorn's friend, Meriadoc of the shire.
Gimli reach the battlefield before Legolas and Aragorn, killing the brave Rohirrim warriors and archers, crippling the king and his nephew several time.
Theoden decided on erecting a medium sized camp and archery, which had lousy archers that needed intensive training, in the meanwhile Legolas, prince of Mirkwood was wounded several times while strolling by himself in the woods.
A long and badly planned battle raged throughout the land and scores of Rohirrim met father death before the day ended, all leaders were gravely hurt and had long periods of sunbathing in their forts, for if you must fight, at the least look well and tanned.
Gimli son of Gloin defended Aragorn's second base bravely many a time and helped his friends chop down the Ent who would side by Theoden, Ellessar had finally managed to reach the White mountain during one of the long sunbathing periods for he had a good tan and could afford to put in some effort, he returned with the help of the army of the dead, the oathbreakers and the end is known, long live Aragorn son of Arathorn.
Well now some tips: (mostly cons, so you can improve...) |DoV|Konfusius: 1) as your name says, you really confused me, took you too long to recruit archers and make fire in order to kill the heroes. 2)Suicided cavalry endlessly vs Gimli. 3)you took EW and didn't use it wisely, you could've and shuold've won, fire kills aragorn and wait till gimli's slayer fades to kill him, GC gave you an edge you didn't use well. 4)you should learn the correct counters, scour the Rohan strat forum plz. 5)your stable came up so late I almost cried,5-6 total farms to stable...
Dinn: 1) Your hero handling wasn't too good, especially losing legolas so many times, you could've ended it much faster with some more axes throws (1 mount hero per axe...). 2) You let him trample elves , please switch to swords next time. 3) Your strat is FUN, but won't really help imo vs a better player, should be more aggressive.
Overall: A funny game, full of killing, ok start leading to mass suiciding of cavalry and mini aotd(+big aotd ). Major.

i went for heroes/elves against an entire FU cavalry army with GC...and the result
Lots of downtime in the bases though...the heroes were always on the defense...best fastforward to the battle all the time[attachmentid=40231]
I asked Major for this one... he says he'll make a nice story
