WISE Major vs SDS Judas

Major

Build Order: Pit->Mills->SH->Palace->Fill base w/ SH->Outpost (2 Furns + pit)->Troll cage + Siege works

Eye used on orcs to hit back of farm where EW couldn't help.
Gollum microed well and then spied at castle.
Great orc use putting Judas under constant pressure.
''All warfare is based on deception'' Sun Tzu's art of war. A great deception with the small force you had at your base making him think you were stronger then you were so he retreated from attacking you.
Fast outpost and took haradrim out just in time.
Map control pretty much all game.

Perhaps use trolls too kill his archers as they retreated although would have been risky.

Lost a few haradrim to wargs.
Siege works too late.
Catas used to shoot at same target instead of splitting fire up to cause more damage.
In siege of Gondors base your trolls run too far forward and attacked Gandy so were very vulnerable to being LS'd (but Judas didn't take advantage of that).


It was great play by you despite your inexperience with Mordor. Although you did make a few mistakes your mistakes were minor in comparison to what you did right. Gollum was used brilliantly you never lost him and got him to kill a few soldiers and then spy at the back of Gondors castle.

Throughout the game you took advantage of sds Judas slow force by using your orcs to constantly harass several different farms meaning there was little he could do to damage you. Then despite getting catas too late you deceived Judas into thinking you had a stronger force then you actually had giving you time to build up your force and stopping him from attacking your base.

In general you played well.

Judas

EW when you saw eye.
Archer micro generally good although perhaps you should have split up the 3 archers all hitting one lair.
Good formation use.
Quite good and original strat.

Overestimated / stupidly retreated from Majors weak defence force.
Didn’t use Gandalf well, IL a drummer troll instead of LS the trolls.
Force was easily outmanoeuvred, try splitting your archers up more.
Heal not used that well.
Could have taken northern outpost and garrisoned with a ranger bat.

You had a new and original strat which might have worked had you not made the mistakes you did. Your archers just weren’t split up enough so, you had to spend more time then needed defending your farms, allowing Major to creep uncontested and take the southern outpost.

Your biggest mistake however was retreating your attacking archer force away from majors base and weak defence force yet if you had focused the archer fire on the one catapult it and the rest of the force would have easily been destroyed allowing you to destroy majors camp and probably win the game.

Overall quite a fun replay to watch, good skill by the Mordor player and a new strat by the Gondor player.

Congratz Major.

Congratz to Major and Judas but just wondering - unless I'm being nooby (which is entirely plausible) I can't see Juda' BO which is especially annoying as Daemon mentioned it was an interesting strat...

I think he forgot that, but also you can watch the replay and see the BO
