Best off selling your stable when you save for ents, also going right to gorn will often work out better than using theo.

I didn't sell my stable because I thought horse-shields could be quite useful later. And I went for Ups+Theo because I saw Maia doing it( drol.gif ) and I thought going for Ara means that I end up with no MC.
