Map: West Emnet Version: 1.03 Match up: Gonder verses Isengard
Pelanoir (Gondor) VS GFHKnightLite (Isen)
Pelanoir (Gondor) Bo: Farm+Blacksmith +pip, 3 farms out
Strategy: knights-->Boromir-->Faramir-->del stable for siegeworks (no HS)-->soldiers-->ups-->Tg+trebs-->archers+fire--> soldiers-->knights-->combos-->shields
PP-Tree: EW-Heal-Elves-Rohirrim-Eagles-AotD
Pros Map knowledge Good harasment Good Creeping Very nice shooting of clumbed uruks with trebs, when he ladderrushed you, good defence overal Good use of counters +Hero Micro-you got both faramir and boromir to lvl 9. Used CoG from both Faramir and Boromir
Cons Purchased EW, but took a while to use it Got 3 knights, but no shields (this was v important when you attacked the upper outpost Could have skipped horse summon for Eaglesàending the game right there Trebs merely used for defence, could have tremenduously helped against the outpost with fire.
Comments- You played a pretty solid game, with nice micro and a very nice diversity in units. Perhaps you could have bought Gandalf, and like mentioned above skip Rohirrim summon and be more on the field with the trebs. Overal gg from you
Pros: Well defended Strong expander, allowing for fast siege Fast siege, hadnt it been for his trebs, you could have hit him very hard there X-bow+fire in outpost, very strong Pike/Uruk combo, worked out pretty well vs his infantry army Variety in your army Good mine use, altough it didnt matte anymore at that point
Cons: Ran into tg too often with wargs, Tg =Pike, you rly don’t want to do that Lost lurtz twice, the moment you got him you could have skipped TL and gone straight for rain imo, might have won you the fight atthe upper outpost. saruman, at one moment you had close to 5000àget saruman Rain, when you attack, be sure you have a fresh rain ready to use, you attacke dtoo early on the lower left outpost.
Comments- I loved your style, you were very aggressive troughout. You could have gottten saruman and watched your rain-attack timing a bit better. Try to avoid tg at all cost with wargs. When you are building lurtz from an outpost and it gets attacked, cancel lurtz and rebuild him at mainbase, it was a shame seeing him die twice upon arrival. Overal well played, strong attacks, and good map awareness.
Rating 6.5
Final Comments: An entertaining Gondor-Isen match, on a less often used map. Strong play from both, excellent use of counters, good back and Forth action. A good watch for players, who have difficulties in this Mu, both ways.
End rating 7
Entertainment 6
