+ got Gandy to 10 (good use of LS to kill Naz) + constant harassment of mills + killed several Naz/mumaks
- rushed Gandy (he isn't a priority in this matchup) - put Gandy in danger several times (a player w/ better micro would've killed him) - market/SW came way too late (early trolls/more mumaks would've killed u) - poor use of elf/eagle summons (eagles should've killed mumaks/move elves away fr/ mumaks) - no Faramir (essential for fighting mumaks/Naz) - used Pippin to creep (should've used him to shut down Mordor's mills)
+ constant harassment of farms + put orc archers on mumaks (would've really helped vs eagles) + killed his starting soldiers protecting your mills + built orc pits at front (allows orcs to cross map faster)
- lost several Naz - poor support of mumaks w/ eye - missed several opportunities to kill Gandy w/ mumak charge - skipped trolls and went straight to mumaks (trolls essential for MC) - took TL but never used it (saw him use heal at start and still didn't lay it down) - had industry charged and didn't use it right away sometimes
Summary:
An interesting game which went back and forth making it difficult to tell who was going to win it. Early on, it looked as though Mordor was going to win but Gondor managed to pull ahead and win instead. Both players had good starts barring a few minor mistakes. However, micro was poor as was the strats which could use some major tweaking. Against more experienced players, they would not work. Gondor needs to focus on getting up its defenses as early as possible to defend against trolls/mumaks. Mordor needs to get out early trolls for MC as a shielded knight rush would've killed mumak pit and crippled him in this particular game. I'd suggest both players visit the strat forums, Gondor vs Mordor is a tough matchup and u can't afford to make mistakes in it.
