This was my 5th 1v1 after returning to the game. Haven't played since the EA server days. This was a rematch after he completely destroyed me as Mordor vs Isengard(me).

This was a fun game so I thought I should share it.
I made a lot of mistakes, but I would like to improve my gameplay.

That would be great, I wouldn't mind some mentoring.

Ok I will just write while I watch.

With your first uruk if you meet the Gondor soldiers -> chant and try to kill as much of them as possible. Gondor will usually try to reach your mill as soon as possible and will put land there because on land the 2 soldiers will easily kill 2 battalions of uruks unless you kill some of them on the way there. Pushing with your first uruks vs gondor is not rewarding as Gondor will still have 2 farms inside, will take at least one yours and the hobbit will be annoying and potentially kill the unit afterwards (+he can cloak him at the farm spot so you cant even take that) as happened to you too.

Second mistake - you should aim to pump your uruks out one after another so you have pikes out before his horses so you can guard your mills. You should use those uruks to creep wargs or kill gon farms (after you killed his soldiers) and lose those uruks on wargs ( if you creeping with 2 uruks you should aim to get kill the lair, get money and then let the wargs kill the uruks) or get the uruks back to your base so Gondor horses cant kill them and get easy XP.

You had the good reflexes to flood the map with pikes and get lurtz after he got Gandy which eventually led to you crippling him and killing him. Also nice that you wasnt scared of outpost and simply chanted 2 pikes and killed it (would be risky if there was FU archers or rangers inside the cita)

Also another point - until you are in pressure try to give last hit on pinned heroes to Lurtz. You could have got high levels just from killing gandy and fara and trust me the lvl 5 Leadership is really usefull in this MU.

Another point - dont be so hasty and maybe kill 2 wall segments before going inside the base (unless you know he is broke). He could easilly rebuild the wall and trap half you army inside which is much easier to deal with.

Make combos around the time you starting to siege if you cant exclude Gondor having eagles (which he usually have around the time). Good gondor will try to snipe the Lurtz with them and then go make havoc with Gandy so you should have something to atleast kill them after they kill lurtz (or if u have lvl 5 lurtz and use chant you might be able to kill them even before) so they cant attack the rest of your units.

All and all it was decent game considered you were out for so long, but the Gondor player was rly sloppy losing so much horses, getting Gandy crippled and bad usage of summons (he had elves rdy during your last attack the whole time lol - if he used them he would save his base easily and could have turned the game around with AoD and Gandalf lvl 10) and the other players might no be like that.

Thank you, this helped a lot!

The point about taking down at least two wall segments is actually something I have been doing my last couple of games.
Protecting my mill vs Gondor Soldiers in the start is also something I have been trying to do recently, chanting as soon as I meet them and follow all the way back to my mill while my first pit-uruk is coming for backup.

Giving Lurtz last hit is something I definitely should keep in mind for the future.
I'm also gonna try killing off my Uruks to deny experience by suicide creeping next time.

I see now that getting combos for the siege would help me out a lot here, guessing I didn't respect the eagles enough at the time, which is a mistake seeing as they can take down Lurtz and giving Gandalf freedom to take control.
