Battle for Middle Earth

As topa said his first game in that MU (IsenVsMordor)- if that is true he did excaptionally well ^^ I felt completely fucked and he had total MC but i got to rain to fend off first attack and from then on it was an even game till i was able to pull a win out of the hat.

I'll watch this in 2 hours and make a review cause i want to become a official RR ! ! !

My review:

A very good game, Mordor had this game, but lost it to rain and mass xbows.

Peak (Isen):

you had a terrible start, the best way to start vs mordor is 2 furns/pit/tower/uruk. You won this game because Topalov lacks experience in this match up. If you see he has a early tower, send ur uruks to his mill to at least kill the laborers from the 1st mill, then warchant both uruks and kill the pit. You did great getting his pit down, but leaving him with 4 mills gave him a great eco to buy 2 pits in no time, you had no chance to get mc back.

you did great defending your 2 mills when you got them back, but you couldnt reach his to haras him, leaving mordor with great eco, eventually his mass orcs and trolls forced you back to your castle.

your use of rain was great, and getting devestation to get that extra eco boost was a good disicion as you really needed it and gave you saruman much faster.

late game was great getting catapults cause you had mc.

Topalov (Mordor):

You had a fantastic start getting 4 mills is very impressive for a mordor vs isen, your eco was great, well done.

if you see him defend with zerks and xbows, send your orcs in groups, you did from time to time, but at the bottom mill they came 1 by 1, will barely do any damage then.

You had fast trolls, before he got upgrades, you should creep more with them, you only got 1 creep with your trolls .. rather a shame.

Dont cashfloat, getting wk wasnt a good choise imo, just get a naz(cheaper) to keep mc harasing his xbows ( hit & run ). WK is great for LD but you should know he has rain and ld wont do anything.

Because he has rain you should get your combos/catapults much faster, earlier catapults would have won it, never attack his base without, RAIN will own you.

Your late game was terrible, Isen had whole MC and you stopped spamming orcs for some reason? keep spamming them you had 2 nazguls and witchking, he cant be whole over the map at the same time.

Your nazgul/witchking micro was terrible, you lost them rather easily.

You obviously lacked the experience in this match up to finish it off.

no way isen should win this game, I haven't quite understood how Topalov managed to lose this one, rain shouldn't have been enough imho, full mordor army is scary, maybe more catapults and way better naz usage.

the start was cruel as well, topalov had it as mentioned above.

yeah the 8000 gold for wiki, was better spent in faster combos + catas and a normal naz i think.

And i really had no clue how to counter rain I thought waiting and building up was good for me. Thought mordor would win late game, but rain is to OP. Now i know, i will attack faster next time.
