i was so noob your first eagle summon really killed me badly and fed you pp.
my combos too late, letting idle trolls get killed by trebuchet. so painfull
but you played very well poose, gosh i hate your Gandy laming. i deserved to loose.

Jiho was noob as he said, but this was one lovely game to watch really entertaining imho, highly recommended.

Ya, it was not mistake free but it was late as hell so it is to be forgiven imo .

Starting positions:
Gondor/Checkbook - West
Mordor/Jiho - East

Overview:

An entertaining Gondor vs Mordor. It was a fun watch and a generally good game, despite a few mistakes from both players. Lots of intense battles and good back and forth action. An interesting watch that qualifies it for a RotW Contender.


Gondor/Checkbook

You played a nice game and your micro was generally good. I think it would have benefitted you more to have purchased a few more Blacksmiths before you upgraded with HS as this slowed your early econ a little. However this is down to personal judgement as it will affect the speed of your rushes. In this case i think it would also have been most beneficial to get Statues for a quicker Gandy, it is a perfect way of replacing your farms with Blacksmiths at the same time. Sometimes you were floating with small amounts of cash. You need to make sure that you are quick to replace your army during, or straight after, a battle. This way you will be able to keep up the pressure and have a quicker next attack. Just watch your spacing between units. I know it is good to keep Rangers split up to avoid being owned by mass trolls, but it is useful to stay within range of each other so they can attack whilst other batts are being targeted. It could be useful for you to stand Boromir near a treb or something so that you can quickly gain his LD which would make the battles much easier. But you were able to get the PP you needed for AotD, just in time for that last battle, GJ and WP.

• could look to get some more Blacksmiths up before upgrading HS, slowed your game a little
• statues for a quicker Gandy, could use your farms -> replace after with Blacksmiths
• Cashfloating at times, slow to replace your army
• look to rankshare with boromir to get his LD (eg. stand by a treb)

Mordor/Jiho

You played well, a good early game using harads to aid your creeping and to help protect your mills. Just be sure to watch your cashfloating, it can be very important in any Mordor game. Once trolls got out you harrassed well killing Gondor's gate, some good use of eating orcs to keep your trolls healthy throughout the game. Just be sure to keep your drummers with your trolls as best as possible whilst attacking. You lost the game with the first eagle summon really, remember to keep an eye on the pp situation and made combos as and when they are needed.

• Keep an eye on the pp situation and prepare combos accordingly
• Try and keep trolls with drummers as best as possible
• Be careful with Nazgul
