then i get a troll out and he rushes me with zerks, i rly thought my full towers could handle those 2 zerks so i let my troll attack something else and lose my cage..so no drummer for gayway sad.gif

but u know what they say about mistakes making games good smile.gif

Starting positions:
B2P|Wegway`/]CBA|tbh` - West
{oP^3}ScArLeT/{oP^3}JeNNy - East

Overview:

At the beginning there were some back and forths and some nice harassing. One Mordor base had to survive a few waves of rush. There was some good coordination, beacon placing and teamwork on both sides, well played. The Micro and Macro of both teams was top notch, though there were still a few mistakes. Some nice entertaining intense battles weren't left out of this game and overall was pretty entertaining with nice comebacks. Well played by both teams. thum.gif

B2P|Wegway`/]CBA|tbh` - Mordor/Mordor

Took all Settlements for Mills and defended the base succesfully against an Uruk rush. You should've rather defended your Troll cage with that Troll, this only delayed Drummers. Huge losses on that sneak attack with Combos and Catas, shot yourself a few own goals with those Catapults. Unluckily had your Witchking got stuck in the middle base Citadel, you probably would've taken down Saruman. A nice choice of getting a Siege Tower, got you a bunch of kills, looked funny aswell. After you destroyed the lower Isengard base, it was pretty much over. A comeback would've been too hard and your army was way too big with way too much Leadership.

{oP^3}ScArLeT/{oP^3}JeNNy - Isengard/Isengard

Good team coordination on the first and second Uruk rush, took down a bunch of towers. Got out some quick Zerks for a nice Settlement defense. A nice Berserk rush, took down the Troll cage. Saruman saved you the lower Isengard base with some nice microing. Another nice base rush on the upper Mordor, once again took down the Troll cage to delay their Drummers. Nice job getting rain, but it didn't help you much and too bad that you lost Saruman. Couldn't do much about Mordor bashing your Isen base anymore, the army was just too big.

Overall Rating: 6

Thanks NML, but there wasn't a single point on how we could improve... you basically just said what happened. What could we do to have done better next time? Atm, I don't consider our game reviewed sleep.gif .

Agreed with Luan, you havn't given any tips or even played with thoughts on what they could/should of done differently. Either you finish the review like your meant to NML or this won't count towards you rrotm and the review will be removed.

As far as I remember, this game asked for a RATING not a REVIEW. As far as I'm concerned Ratings should only rate the game and point out the game moments not how they should improve. I still told some stuff they did wrong.

I really should stop editing the [review]/[rating] stuff in the topic title to [-] so you actually see what it was. dry.gif

o rly?

How does telling the players the moments of the game help them at all? The point of Review/Rating is to help the players know what they did wrong and how they could improve. This is the reason players post games.

as far as i know ratings include the comments part, the improvements part (the bulletpoints) and the ratings

a review includes all of that but in much more detail

As far as I know, ratings include only the comments part and the ratings. Ratings were actually made to save RR's time on rating a game if there was no improvement needed (like game played by pro's who know what they do wrong themselves). What is the point of Rating if it is just like a Review? It won't save any time for Reviewers.

No Luan, not really. As said above Ratings are to save time for RR's and for good players who are confident that they don't need their mistakes listed and just expect a good rating.

Whether a higher ranking staff member agrees with your "Rating" and style or not (although Light has already agreed that this "Rating" is lacking), the fact of the matter is I would still like to know what both sides could of done better. You don't think me and Miho have been trying a way to work double Isen vs. double Mord out? More people to brainstorm is always better.
