Replays: 18 Game:
hey, this is skip again.

because of the poor rating of my last replay, i tried to do some better in my next game, and i think it was a cool game!
i faced rohan, which went the, today very popular, fast aragorn. he went 2 rohirim, then aragorn....

this time i tried to attack, the fastest i could and dont stop putting pressure on him....

maybe elven could review this again, and compare this one to the last one?!?
but after all, any reviewer is wellcome. smile.gif

Sure I'll do this one, however, Rohan vs Mordor is very different fr/ Gondor vs Mordor so there isn't as much to compare.

Review for takis7 (Rohan) vs LordSithious (Mordor) on Eastern Rohan:

Rohan:

+ good harassment of mills w/ rohirrim (slowed down his mid-game econ)
+ got Aragorn when u saw he was going trolls
+ spammed extra peasants to harass mills and defend farms
+ killed a Naz, several mumaks, and a few trolls
+ knowledge of map (knew safe settlements)

- poor use of Aragorn (using BM for orcs, not using him vs mumaks, he just sat around at beginning)
- took heal b4 Anduril (better to go fast Anduril - u ended up losing Aragorn to early trolls
- poor targeting (kept hitting a diff troll each time instead of finishing off weaker ones)
- didn't rebuild stable (needed to continue harassing mills and settlements)
- didn't use wedge form for cav when harassing mills

Mordor:

+ killed Aragorn twice as well as other heroes (had a number of ranked trolls)
+ hit most of the creeps
+ good selection of powers
+ spammed TL around his castle (helped mumaks coming fr/ OP)
+ expanded to OP near his castle quickly
+ took down a few towers and wall sections w/ trolls
+ knowledge of map (knew safe settlements and most creeps)

- troll pit in front of castle (primary target in attacks)
- poor use of eye and Industry (industry was charged and not used sometimes, didn't always use eye to support units)
- lost ranked trolls (could've supported them w/ orcs for healing)
- lost a Naz (shouldn't of sent him in at that point)
- poor MC (he had a number of farms for a while)
- lost a batt of orcs running them past wargs and weren't able to kill his southern farm (only 1 peasant batt defending)
- only 1 orc pit (a 2nd pit a little later would've overwhelmed him)
- poor coordination of forces mid-game (orcs were ineffective b/c they weren't sent in w/ other units until end)

Summary:

A decent game by both players w/ some mistakes made by both sides. Mordor obviously held the advantage fr/ the beginning and Rohan was forced to react the entire time. Rohan did some major harassing of mills in mid game b4 losing rohirrim while Mordor got out trolls and hit the creeps. Mordor could've won earlier had he really pressed the advantage but held back a bit (multiple mumaks/troll cages could've ended this faster). Losing Aragorn early on was played a major part in Rohan losing, had he survived, it might've turned out diff b/c he could've slowed expansion and attacked OPs. The strats were appropriate but both players could stand to improve their execution of them as well as micro.

Rating: 4/10
