a small mistake in this game...gondor should use Land when the first rohan combo attacks in that moment the game will be finished but he did not use it... thinking of gtw?
Tbh Gondor was afraid to land EW, because Isen didn't have TL yet. So if one of Rohans would had EW, it would be a waiste. But the real mistake there was crippling Aragorn instead of Theoden. Ara was stil giving LD, while Theo escaped/survived and then get to rank 4. Theo crippled would have died, and 1st battle would be more tied.
Luckily, all Gondor's combos survived. That and excellently executed Isen's defence was a game winner.
i think u r blind...all gondor combo died cuse of gc look again very carfuly and i still insist the land was the key in that moment if he putted the land early rohan combo will die + oden + aragon they dont have land u have 2 think in early game both rohan did not take much of points and thats mean they hardly have getting even heal
Jubie, thanks for your comments, in retrospective land would be a game ender, but it was a risky move nontheless at the time, rohan could easily cover/move from land and we had no horses to chase him down. This was safer play, even if it meant losing mid, because I allready had saruman on the way.
BTW, werent't you the observer in this match? I don't know what you were looking at but gondor combos definitely survived GC runover. If they hadn't it would have been gg when rohans attacked isen's base.
