No matter how many more times I'll be told that nothing is lame on 1.09, getting all elven heroes vs Men/Dwarves IS lame. Abusive shit like bullying your opponent with Thranny+Lego in hour long game is the fastest way how to drive people to CoD.
On one hand I dig the unit buffing thing which promotes agressive gameplay, on the other hand elven heroes need some serious nerfing against FoL factions.

Affortunately i accidentally overbuffed gloin level 10 shit, that would have been very useful. But he leveled up to 10 too late. And btw, if it was 1.08 it would have been worst! heros leveling up exponentially, lorien wrrior killing gloin even faster than here, dead eye with 5000 range and no penalty
Ech was offhost tho right>? The elf targetted Gloin all game, couldnt level up. And the skirmishes were mostly ones Ech shouldnt of engaged in, fed heroes.
Im not a good dwarf player but I remember in 108 beta otto and ech played tonnes of this matchup, elf heroes did become an issue late game. But now, Arwen doesnt have heal, Thrand nerfs, elf hero EXP nerfs, fair bit of stuff to lessen their impact. I think if u change host it would be a different story, time to level gloin and gimli, this rep doesnt have Dain either, he can buff Gimli to rape dem heroes even faster. It has Dains bra, but Dain (a hero with a derivation of mounted-hero-armor) do not like magic damage from thrandy Dead Eye. More than twice he died by Lee Pace
I missed that, didnt watch the end as it was already over. I suppose we should have penalised Deadeye to Dwarf heroes. Perhaps baiting the spell near a mineshaft is a good way to go.
Still, would be good to see more reps of this mu, dwarf onhost.
Quicksilver, I dont think elf heroes are that good against Men, once Gandalf comes Elves will suffer badly
As far as I know, dwarves vs. elves was a super faceroll for dwarf. Didnt need to do shit but a-move axe throwers n guards over the map whilst elf needed to micro even against a considerable smaller army just because how good ATs are/were (talking beta here and 1.8).
The most frustrating part was that at a certain point Dain buffed slayer Gilmi who literally fucked both Lego and Thran in the ear and made haldir watch it and wait to get fucked as well.
Pretty glad where the MU is right now. Some of what I have mentioned still stands but its not so cre cre.
