Wether the elves or men wins...all these replays are games of very good players so you can both learn what to do as men in different situations and also what to expect from an elf.
So, 1st minutes were definitely yours since he did bad with that pike start...(hardly a good decision), but once you started attacking, your micro was lackluster. It is true that macro beats micro, yet throwing away soldiers or frogeting about them before they do any sort of damage (literally) is a nice way to lose a game. You send them one by one to die vs an army.
Also, right after you creeped both lairs you decided to use the money to get more farms while you should have gotten cavalry or even boromir. You creep to get quick money for cavarly or a tier 1 hero usually. 6 farms/1 barrack is not good to put pressure. He made tons of mistakes that you could have punished.
You suicided your 1st pike unit (could of just creeped the troll with level 3 towerguards) and you made more pikes when clearly you had no use of them. pikes are expensive and they have a purpose.
Missuse of land at 1st. If you only used it on his camp then those pikes could "maybe" take out the barracks and soldiers take the mallorn (good exchange).
Theoden king stands alone...-Yes, alone.
And I can't stress this enough: Don't forget your units in middle of nowhere on his camp or in YOUR CAMP when they can actually tip the battle in your favor.
For some reason: Eagles that have 5 seconds left before they dessapear were a priority over treebeard and ent
Good tips : - For land with gondor knights: They can trample pikes to get to those archers while they have armor from land (plus +25%-ish from stance if you like). - Pay bit more attention to your units, and don't forget about them (hotkey them--especially heroes and cav). Spit cavalry against pikemen and come from both sides (1 pikemen unit can't be at 2 places or face two sides vs 2 battalions of cav). - Buy units you need. towerguards for the sake of towerguards is a waste. - a 2nd barrack was needed to overspam him. - Abuse boromir's raging strapon...it only takes a minute to recharge. You could of won skirmishes had you used him(I think you haven't used him even for once?). - If you lose a barracks, remake it ASAP. -Hobbit heroes have some cool skills. Use them all once they are summoned. -Instead of aragorn (yes amazing hero) get gandy vs elvs. Gandy+boro is just cancer of the cancerous elves. => https://www.gamereplays.org/battleformiddle...ls&id=12203 (how to gandalf like a pro) - Eomer is good. Armor buff>damage buff anyday on bfme2. good thing is you can actually get both.. armor and damage. -Up your micro game. Macro beats micro but a shitty micro means you lose ressources for no reason. -Stastically speaking: You had more money, you made more money yet your macro(buildings&units you build) and micro (your unit control) were lacking that he made to win even though he made little expansion.
Conclusion: For a noob, you're not bad. I would say you are a low med. Just keep on playing, watching replays and learning, you will get beyond better.
