I lost so many Elven troops to abilities it started to get quite funny. There was a really juicy Mordor fort bomb on some Mirkwoods which was pretty cool.
If you have any tips for my sub-par game play please go ahead.
I have re-watched it myself and noticed many stupid things I did but nevertheless it's always good to get other peoples opinions.
You probably know that by now but playing elves against armies that have AoE spells and abilities requires you to presplit your army heavily. Thats one of those things that makes this army so micro intensive. Of course you can also try to bait some spells by clumping the army and then hittin the x button when you smell something like watcher coming but the downside of that is that x split makes archers separate from pikes making ur army weak and also cant really be done offhost too well therefore I recommend manual splits/pre-split.
Its a hard habit to get used to honestly, dont get too discouraged
I guess that manual splits and multiple archers kite is the hardest micro of this game, followed up by proper hero usage with abilities I guess. Everything else is ez compared to that xD
How could i actually take the edge over fitton here? I mean i had the best structures killed score but still struggled so much in keeping his eco low. Also army engagements were so hard due to mirks insane range.

Most likely there is none. Elves are like Isen, just with better scaling. Much superior troops, leadership and heroes lategame but at the same time require micro to be spot on like Random posted above. I'll also watch the rep when I get home later on.
