I didnt got thranduil (which I did in Rohan II Game) so I couldnt take his heroes (especially Saruman down, and I also couldnt take his FU fortress down. Glorfindel wasnt that good in this matchup. Its a shame that his skill with 100 % armor and damage was altered during the following patches, because he would be more powerful with the origin effect of blade of purity) I needed thranduil, he is far better in dealing damage to heroes than glorfindel.

Glorfindel is not a hero killer. Glorfindel is the best building harasser among all heroes (i can't think of any hero that can do it better) you make glor to mount him find farms/buildings wreck them and mount and run. with lvl6 glor is the fucking flash. he is good vs cav spam, and also nice(imo) to get vs gobs/dwarves with his aeo dmg. his lvl 3 makes him able to wreck key buildings unhindered or to escape to safety after a successful hit.
saru can be killed with a bunch of archer +50%dmg buff and farsight, just keep them bit apart, and dont get caugh by blast.he is very suspectible to pierce dmg you only need to aim.
