You focused too much on defending farms and chasing the fastest unit in the game. Vs gobs/mordor, push early. At one early point you had like 2 bats of rohrs chasing and 2 TG's standing at the base drinking coffee. Go straight for his base and get his production buildings. Sure he destroys your farms, but you destroy his.
When you had rohrs, he was not even close to having half-trolls. You could have decimated all his farms with one bat or rohrs and defended with the other while sending pikes to his base.

Thanks for some sensible advice. I think I pidgeonholed too much on defending because first 3 games were over pretty quickly. The coffee was good though, but next time I'll send them over to wreck some shit. Thanks again.

This was my best game as I could effectively defend, but not attack so I just gave up after my army died in a failed attack gg no re.
Can someone explain what to do against spiderlings like this?
