Here we are again, me and Alchemist. This is a dam good men player. I just had to post this game.
Everytime we play, The game is 20 or 30 mins. If youve seen our other games, This is the best one yet!

I thought he was gonna do his normal ''turtleing strategy''. But I was wrong, dead wrong.
His rush came from al directions, I had to delete alot of buildings. I had to split up my units to stop his Spamming.
He did a slightly different strategy this game. The whole game we both were spaming units all over the map.
We both had a perfect mix of units. spaming them all different directions.

I would definatly recomend watching this replay!
If your haveing trubble with Men or Mordor this will show you the strategys to use.

Starting positions:
Giraiya - Men - West
EyE|LordJoseph - Mordor - East

Overview:

An immensely high skilled game between two experts at the game. It features an excellent spam which was completely unexpected by the Mordor player, and both players quickly crept and used their cash effectively in order to cripple the other. In the end, upgraded corsairs are used to destroy the men’s key buildings and the loss of the spam eventually means the Alchemist eventually loses. Nevertheless, it was an excellent game.

Giraiya - Men

Now this was an excellent game from you. It is almost perfect example of how to play a men soldier spam. You quickly got and effectively used Eomer. You used him to harass on his own and accurately judged when to retreat him. You also used your Tom Bombadil summon to protect Eomer when he needed it, it was an excellent tactical move which saved you money and allowed you breathing room to harass all round. The unit mixing was incredible throughout with rangers and tower guard being microed really well, however sometimes there was enough room for a Nazgul to trample some rangers, but overall it was excellent micro on your behalf. Originally I questioned your stances at the start, but I have now decided that if they are a tactical decision, I won’t penalise them, but I would definitely recommend trampling in aggressive so that the horses do more damage. However, you eventually lost because I don’t think you were aggressive enough, and you need to harass more to contain his expansion. You also never really tried to finish the game, and as a result, Joseph worked his way back into the game, and used the faction characteristics of Mordor (the strong finish) to beat you. On the whole, your powerpoint usage was good, but there was the shaky moment when you summoned the rangers next to the Nazgul, needless to say they didn’t last long! Earthquake use was particularly good, but that has too large a radius for the damage it does. You were walled in by barricades and I liked the way you began to try and eliminating them by using trebuchets. Your stances, harassment, expansion, clumping and powerpoint usage were excellent.
  • Attempt to be more aggressive in order to help contain the enemy and be more decisive!
  • Trample your cavalry in aggressive, there was only one instance of the wrong stance but try to do it all the time!
EyE|LordJoseph - Mordor

You were clearly caught off balanced by the his surprising start, you were evidently expecting a more conservative approach from him. The lesson to learn here is to be prepared for the rush, and then adapt if it doesn’t come. You continually used the barricade power to incredibly effectively; along with the wyrm summon which was excellent. The only real negative I could find was the way you lost your first fellbeast very soon after it was built. This was a completely unnecessary waste of 3000. However, you ensured this didn’t reoccur and protected the flying Witchking and Fellbeast very effectively afterwards. Your stances were excellent throughout. I liked the way you used upgraded corsairs to target his buildings when many would have tried to fight his troops, which would have been a waste of harassing power. Your Nazgul did die numerous times, but I must admit when it was not dying it was very effectively utilised. The game also lasted a long time which allowed me to forgive the occasional slip up. The excellent beginning spam and early creeping were of top quality and helped you to win the game as did the fast upgrades and the fact Mordor have a strong End Game. Your stances, harassment, expansion, clumping and powerpoint usage were excellent.
  • Try to pay more attention to your mounted heroes as they seemed to be inexplicably drawn to pikemen this game – a costly attraction!
Overall Rating: 7
