Overview
This game is actually not too bad (for a Dwarven mirror) and although it likely had the players on the edge of their seats battling it out, it will at times have you getting up from yours, to fetch a cup of tea or possible an energy drink.
Ok, I'm exaggerating somewhat, this game is highly entertaining in parts while also highlighting that Gimli might have been drinking just a little too much mead, when he claimed Dwarves were natural sprinters, as even with the mine systems, the clunky Guardians take some time getting to the action. Multiple very close battles, power point uses, epic saves and hero powers keep provide much of the fun for any viewer of this game.
Dwarves, North, - Senjor Mouchos Manymos Muchos
Build order 4x RB 1x Rax into Guardians. Senjor started off with an unconventional start for Dwarves, and with no scout ability it put him at a disadvantage for the entire game as he was not able to defend his barracks from a fast pike from Archangel. However, considering this, he played well and provided some really entertaining moments. Risk is of no concern to this mucho, as he opted for Sunflare when his fort could have been blown over with sneeze.
Pro's- Epic fort saves
- Good macro
- I think you upgraded your fort with banners at the start? Not possible to check on replays because the nublet fort doesn't let you click on it.
Dwarves, South, - Archangel
Build order 1rax 1rb >pike Forward mine middle, creep enemy central creeps.
Archangel started off with a slightly more conventional start, however instead of creeping to the west, he creeped the enemy middle Warg lair and went for a quick harassment of enemy barracks.
A stronger build order at the start led to consistent harassment and expansion which eventually wore your enemy down.
Pro moments- Strong Macro and Micro
- Strong early harassment taking down many buildings
- Kept good pressure on your enemy, not allowing him to expand and reclaim the game.
Overall a skilled game from which many lesser mortals could learn from. There is exciting concentrated action, with a lot of side action, especially for a Dwarven Mirror. There are tense moments worth watching. I haven't included work on points because
Senjor always moans and corrects me these players are currently more up to scratch with the game than my self, and I didn't notice any glaring mistakes.
Verdict:Fun 7/10
Skill 7.5/10
Unique strategy total 7/10
Total score 21.5/30
