Battle for Middle Earth 2

I dont post many gammes and for good reason imo. But this was a decently high skilled game with alot of intense action. One of the more fun games ive had in a really long time

i was off host and it showed (not that it was bad lag at all) but other than minor micro mistakes (and one macro mistake on my part which i wont tell because i dont think most of you will catch it ) it was solidly played on both pla yers part.

There was enough going on that i really had trouble thinking out my strat. Either way it was a very gg. And im not gonna tell who wins

Theodreds(gobs) - West
Child(gobs) - East

Overview:

An intense game between 2 very good aplyer.Exceelling macro by both palyers constanly spamming uits of serval caves fissure and whatnot while attacking both in major battles and ahrrassment around sides for the battle of map control, while similiar strats clashed, and after using balrogs and trolls to take out both forts the fight continues until childs map control and econ is overwhelming.


Theodreds(gobs)

The normal safe bO worked for you here set bakc only s little by those fast gobs. i wouls say a faster third cave or even 'lings would ahve bin better then a fissure.Although it did work out but after seeing his trolls, usually upgrading it and getting sum half trolls faster.You used balrog summon solely to atk the fort when an easy breathe fire spell could take out those caves and fissure also unless im much msitake whip does alot of damage to the fort.And after taking his fort u left urs so vulnerable knowing he has know fort hes gonna be gunning for yours, u need to fortify ur defenses next time, also his gorkil was 1 hit from being dead and u let him live knowing he had no fort so if he died he wasnt comnig back.after child got up his fort it was gg, its key though when losing ur fort to make a hidden fissure and jsut have trolls roaming around killing everything.

• Your watcher summon was wasted on a small army easily defeated
• to effective use the balrog incorporate all his powers
• trolls are imperitive after losing a fort to wreck havoc around the map

Child(gobs)

An unconventional start of tunn cave cave allowed for quick gobs with a poor early game econ but it worked well to get that pressure keep theo on his heels at first.Gob archers would well although you stopped his spam very well with warriors still one archer batt can close down sum spam and those warriors sent to his base.It goes with out saying to always watch ypur stances your half trolls were left in nuetral at times.Make sure to ahrrass the sides constantly.You whip vs the fort with balrog its very effective.nice assault on his fort with trolls. After you got ur fort it was gg, wp m8.

• goblin archers can help in battles vs gob spam and do ok vs cT's also
• balrogs whip vs fort is effective and breathe fire to take out msot PB's

GG - IMO EaE's start was a much better one, and as you saw those 2 extra goblins didn't do much for ya. WP to the end though, good to see a mirror where it doesnt come down to CT spam vs. CT spam.

i dont agree at all.

With my start.

On my host i would have put him heavily on the backfoot early. Which woudl basically have ended it.

instead i stupidly lost a few gobilns and it was =.

maybe your right if your off host or playing lazy but i dont agree on host for sure

will watch. Theodreds is a great player and i just recently have posted a 160kb game vs him. Good to c CFC happening man

balrog is still too strong.he can solo a fort and then a whole base

I watched it again and this game is better than I thought. Nice one child.

A tip for all players: Never let your fort unprotect vs goblins...

yeah it couldnt have been helped in that case though . The player had just had all of his pb's killed

this was a better game than the 2 that just got rotw contender(of mine). .

When a player has everything destroyed, he must build in somewhere else, obviously.

ofc.....

but that player didnt have time. As his pb's all JUST got owned . meaning he didnt have time to set up a defense =o
