Actually it makes a huge difference whether you go gandy or trebs. Like you said you had the upperhand and if you just made trebs to finish him off, his "stubbornness'' wouldnt matter because siege is made to finish off stubbornness.

Because you didn't finish him off (which you could easily) there were several times that he had the chance to rebuild his base and even go on the offense a couple of times. Him not wanting to give up is a good thing, because he proved that the game wasn't over since you let him come back.

To put things in perspective, eq was used at 25 min mark but the game lasted 1hour. That has nothing to do with his stubbornness you could have finished it off easily with the iq or even way before eq. You just didnt so the game became boring. You had gandalf rangers pikes roh if you just built a few trebs and protected them with all of the above you would have finished the game at least 30 min earlier.

Now ofc you can play any way you want i am not saying you should finish him asap. But i am saying it was definitely your choices that made sure the game lasted as long as it did.

The game was already over by the time he went early GAs and defended horribly his base to my early rush ,after his failed attempt to bring my fort down with his troll+wilds.

Everything else is pure reflection of emptiness and shallowness.

Point is that my resistance was not a matter of stubbornness, instead, your delay in killing me was stubbornness (or mere cheapness in skill).

I believe your own tenacity of not quiting easily surprasses any kind of my stubborness.

The winner blames the loser for NOT quitting.

Have I fallen down a rabbit hole...?
