An entertaining display between two competent players.
* The game starts off pretty typically for the MU, with a ballsy backup mine creeping the Dwarf manages to retain momentum despite playing a more conservative game. The Goblin manages to survive, the game escalates and seems fairly even into lategame @ which point the Goblin player quits, probably taking the much needed cyanide given his Balrog usage.
- The Goblins players hesitation with his intitial 2 trolls led to the Dwarves fort surviving, he should have either just gone for it or grabbed a tree before he charged but letting the Dwarf spot your trolls and then trying for the Fort with Pike batts nearby was stupid.
- The Dwarf had pretty poor hero usage, the way his Gloin died in the beginning was laughable and seriously contributed to the Goblins survival. Also, there is NO reason to keep your heroes in Offensive stance against Goblins, you halved their survivability for no increased damage as they all 1 shot most goblin units. This was especially dumb in the face of Upgrades.
- Going for Heroes in general as opposed to multiple PBs was a bad move on the Dwarves part, definitely an inferior strategy given the MU. The same can be said for focusing on Fire Arrows, it was expensive and un-needed and the resources would have been better elsewhere.
- The Balrog use was fantastically bad. Has to be said twice.
