This was a long but good game with me against (CiG)Leaf. Once it got into late game though, goblins falls short of the power motw has. Even though i managed to summon the balrog twice, it still didnt help much. But yea, very good game.
orly? i dont think is was so entertaining ... man player could end this sooner .. and verdos 1st balrog could destroy his fort but for some reason he did attack his PBs ive seen better games (tournament replays)
the balrog was doing nothing to his FU fort to me. I gave it ignite and the damage was sub par. I figured that if I took out everything else, my forces could handle the fort. The only noticable mistake I saw in motw was using earthquake without making a followup attack.
Anyways nitro, the skill level was quite potent here and if you dont think a game like this could be entertaining then you and I have a very different definition of what makes a game entertaining. Practically everything was seen here, counterattacks foiled, goblins survival against an impossible late game foe for an extended period of time, intense harassment, etc.
Men player certainly coould not have ended it as soon as he would have liked to. I made sure his army was always preoccupied and econ hit as much as possible. For late game goblins, I thought it was quite entertaining, considering goblins loose late game vs good players most of the time.
All in all, was a pretty fun game.
