Another good game tbh, Men/Elves vs Mordor/ Mordor, although it was kinda 1 sided after early-mid game it was good game nonethless specially now a days when it is very hard to find a decent player to have a fun and challenging 2v2 game.. A review would be nice..

Thanks

Patch: 1.6

Starting positions:
Krzyku (Mordor) and Cziczil (Mordor) - North
Hc45'Intense (Elves) and [DS]Rul3z (Men of the West) - South

Overview:Decent watch, bit one sided, but worth watching for the great coordination and teamwork between Intense and Rul3z to double team each player and kill them both fairly swiftly.

Krzyku and Cziczil

You were always on the back-foot, and nothing you did seemed to go right. I think one fundamental problem in your games was that you never really seemed to have the man power to repel his attacks. You had heroes, and a few corsairs but that was about it. I'd have liked to see some pikes and perhaps some upgrades too once you knew he had cavalry. You both tried to help defend the top left player's fort, but all Cziczil could spare was the Mouth of Sauron. Try getting your first battallions of troops out earlier, and (since they were corsairs) micro them better. The early game really dictates the tone for the rest of the match, especially in this matchup of Mordor vs Elves... if you make corsairs, make sure you get a good few mallorn trees to make up for the 400 unit cost, otherwise it's just a waste. You probably could have killed his builder too very early on, the corsairs could have taken him out.
  • Stick corsairs in guard when firebombing. They gain twice as much armour, and no damage change.
  • Try to micro your corsairs better too. Mallorn trees go down to one firebomb round, don't bother staying and throwing more unless his builder's nearby, and is putting out the fire.
  • Watch your mounted heroes. They ran into pikes a couple of times, which was very unn
Hc45'Intense (Dwarves) and [DS]Rul3z (Dwarves)

The teamwork in this match was excellent, After putting each respective opponent on the back-foot with some nice earlygame harrassing, you combined very well to take down both forts one at a time. You didn't make too many mistakes, and weren't really ever in danger of losing this one, just be careful not to lose your builder early on, and always guard archers with pikes.
  • Don't upgrade Mirkwood Archers with silverthorn arrows... I'm sure you know this, but for the benefit of anybody who may not, it decreases their attack speed, reducing their damage output. I know you were attacking buildings and trolls, but I don't think the money spent on upgrading was really worth it.
  • Make sure that no elite archer units are left unprotected. You did this pretty well, but on a couple of occasions youlost some rangers and Mirkwoods to Nazgul trample.
Overall Rating: 4

Okay dude...

1) This guy was a former RR, he wouldn't break rules.
2) There is no silver medal.
3) The players are in different orders.
4) The files are different sizes.

Topic Unlocked, you still gonna review it?
