To prevent confusion before the review, I have listed it in terms of the teams, not the order the players appear. So maze7's team will come first, even though they are listed second.

VEG4D4PiR4T3/maze7 (Goblins/Dwarves) vs Crycek/Silvergrim (Elves/Dwarves)

Map: Buckland
Game Version: 1.03

Team 1

VEG4D4PiR4T3(Goblins) and maze7(Dwarves)

Start Build Orders:

vega: Tunnel, Gobln Cave, Goblin Cave, Goblins
maze7: Mine, Mine, Mine, Hall of Warriors

Strategies:

vega: Goblin Spam -> Spider Riders -> Half-Trolls -> Upgrades
maze7: Guardian Spam -> Phalanxes -> Axe Throwers -> Gloin

+ Good Teamwork
+ Okay micro

- No forward mine from the Dwarven player
- Stances

Team Summary: Okay gameplay here. Though, there are two notable things you should work on:

Stances: There was some use from VEG4D4PiR4T3, but none from his ally. Still, they could have been used better, and more oftern. Check the Unit Stances/Formations Guide to learn more about them. Linked at the end of the review.

maze7 really needed to try a forward mine, instead of getting 3 mines near his base, then getting a Hall of Warriors. He might want to check out the Dwarven Strategy Section to improve his Dwarves out. Link at the end of this review.

Micro was pretty good, with no crucial errors, and overal strats were pretty good.

Team 2

Crycek(Elves) and Silvergrim(Dwarves)

Starting Build Orders:

Cry: Mallorn Tree, Barracks, Mallorn Tree, Lorien Archer
Grim: Mine, Mine, Mine, Mine

Strats:

Cry: Lorien Archers -> Lancers -> Arwen -> Mithlonds -> Upgrades
Grim: Guardians -> Phalanxes -> Battle Wagons

+ Good teamwork
+ Defended each other well

- Stances
- Delayed Forward mine

Team Summary: Okay playing from you guys. There were a couple of points though that should be worked on:

Stances: I saw no use fo them in this entire game. They can be so helpul and game changing, that there isn't a reason for not using them. Check the Unit Stances/Formations Guide for tips on using them well. Linked at the bottom of the post.

Silvergrim really should have used a better build order, and gotten a foward mine up quick. It allows the Dwavres to keep the fight off of their base, and lets them expand. A check to the Dwarven Strategy section wouldn't hurt.

You guys had some good teamwork, and made good combined attacks, and helped each other when bases were under attack. Some good micro from both players. Nice job thum.gif

Game Summary: An okay match, where the Dwarven players seemed to struggle with their race, and their allies helped them out. Some okay micro from both teams, and there weren't too many errors.
